Archangelzz
Lol, you think you've got it bad? Try playing any korean f2p mmo as a female character having to stare at their bare &#!. As for male and female characters. As far as I'm concerned you're just weaing a suit. Whoever is inside the frame isn't disclosed as being male/female. They sort of are as we already know what they look like they look like humans play hostage missions.
Thirsty_Pickle
Ok ok ok. I'm really liking this idea. I can't get enough Tennobutt. I just can't. I like Tenno Butts and I cannot lie.
(PSN)Pengu_Imperialus
They sort of are as we already know what they look like they look like humans play hostage missions. Or the millions of cryopods in desperate need of defense.
(PSN)oMerkZYoU
If your friend called you out for using a female character in a game, they're rather juvenile. -EDIT- Also ask yourself this, if you are a person attracted to females, would you rather have to stare at a male or female figure in a 3rd person game? That's not really any different than his idea, though. There's a place on the internet for people who want to stare at females.
(PSN)oMerkZYoU
I personally like the idea. More customization and options for those who aren't so accepting. I don't like having to play as a female character and using the excuse of genetalia, or accentuated features, does not justify it (men who use this excuse. smh). Ionus
Well as a player who recently spent my 1 year anniversary with the game as well. This suggestion has popped up tons of times and no, they won't do that. If they will do something like this however, it will be either with the same theme and completely new skill set or then different theme but similar visuals. Like Excalibur and Nyx, Volt and Zephyr. This would have easily been found by using the search button. ....Volt and Zephyr? Wat.

Kashiki
Hi! So yeah, just what i said in the title. Would it be better if all Warframes has a male and female model? I would love to use Nyx or Nova but the thing is.... the model bothers me since i'm a male and using a female character is sort of awkward for me especially when my friends showed and saw me playing using a female character. Can we please add this to the next update? Or maybe the 13 update since this one will be a big one. Thank you for reading and i hope this suggestion is agreeable :) Just think of the female Warframes as power avatars. Besides, if you or your friends have a problem with using a female in a game... you know, let's leave that where it is. Metalbawkses
I don't really see the point of making alternate gender to a bunch of suits. This discussion has been going on for a while, while it might be cool to have female and male counterpart for a frame It's simply pointless. Reyouka
I have both male and female frames myself. Saryn I was drawn to not because she's female, but because of her toxic focused powerset.I highly doubt they will EVER genderswap the frames, as it's been said before in the thread. In universe, from what I can piece together from the lore and codex bits, there's only one of each frame anyways.
izzatuw
There is a certain concept balance and relation in frame design. Rhino male tank, Saryn female tank Oberon male healer, Trinity female healer Vauban male controller, Mag female controller Nekros male pet user, Nyx female pet user (one creates them, other controls them but the effect is similar) Excalibur male fighter, Valkyr female fighter Interesting to notice that two stealth frames are both males, perhaps banshee has some stealth or something, read bout her little. If Saryn was male she would probably be my primary warframe, I love toxic stuff. Rhino male screw everything. Valkyr female screw everythingNekros, cousin of Trinity, and Oberon. Excalibur and Nyx are pretty much the same people.

Especially a 'female' in Warframe terms.

CrimsonPorpoise
"Tenno are tiny space worms whom pilots these human size peusdo-organic suits known as Warframes into batte. Changing a Warframe is like driving a different car.".There! Think of it this way, should help to make you feel better about changing frames. GoldToaster
Shouldn't be embarrassed to play a female frame at all lol. Ember, Nova, Zephyr, Nyx and Valkyr are the only frames I play. Only severely insecure people care what gender other people play as. Honestly it's really stupid people care so much about it.

KingTaro
As usually, YES to gender choice! Scott has always been against this idea of gender choice, while Steve is ok with it. So, we just need to send Scott on vacation for a month and let Steve go wild in the office! Come on Steve, you can do this. è_é

Cipherid
I'm a female player, I can't stand to look at male Warframes, I never play as a MaleFrame, any female who plays a MaleFrame is weird, and should be ashamed wtf, UHH!!!!1 Seriously though, you should be playing the frame for their abilities, not gender. I have frames of each gender, does it impact my playing experience? No it bloody well doesn't. -- Hmm, but I question. I'm a guy but if I used Nyx as my profile picture just because she's my main would people think I'd be a female? :3 No because even now everyone seems to think you're automatically a guy on every game everywhere. Unless you point it out that you're not, that is.
