Okay, a few things:

 

Arc Trap: MUCH better than the lightbulbs of doom. Annoying, yet logical. Not the end of the world, a thing that should be avoided or dealt with, and can be. Makes lore sense.

 

Problems with Arc Traps: Cannot be killed by penta blasts(can be killed with a penta cylinder, though. How odd). Can spawn inside of walls, and still shoot you from inside the wall.

 

Overall grade: B. Fix the spawning and explosion immunity, and I think we're set.

 

Sensor Doors: A little bit easier to see, somewhat easier to kill. Still a complete energy drain. Still requires "MUST BE SHOT" to bypass.

 

Problems with Sensor Doors: Should probably have another bypass option, like not activating when alert status is down. Should not be something so severe as complete energy loss.

 

Overall grade: C. They're still a tad overkill at what they do. They're rhino friendly, but otherwise awkward to pass. Doesn't feel quite "done".

 

Lastly, mercury: No arc traps on mercury! No sensor doors! I think you could technically get away with arc traps on mercury(they're just a nuisance now, not INSTANT UNAVOIDABLE DEATH), but still, it's newbie friendly. Very glad we aren't giving a trial by fire to our freshest players anymore.

 

Vast improvements. Not done yet, but SO MUCH BETTER! Thanks.
