Keldamnar
The idea is to combine extermination and rescue into a new gamemode, but with some important differences. The best part of it, you can play it stealthy or like a rambo, but both ways are rewarding on their own.You start with an enemy-counter at 100% (the number doesn't matter), these enemys spawn on the way to the prison inmates. After killing 30% of the enemys or passing 50% rooms to the prison, the prison riot is detected and the escapees are fighting against the prison guards. Now they start losing health and die, until you enter the cell block. And now it is important how you are playing. If you managed to stay undetected you only have to kill the remaining guards (the guards can still trigger the alarm in the cell block) and exit the mission (presuming the extraction is right next/in the cell block). If the alarm was triggered before, this mission turns into a short defense. In this time you need to protect the escapees until lotus hacked the security. The number of enemys on the counter will double and they will run into you position. So, rushing past the first part will not help, because they will follow you and make the last part even harder. If you're a fast rambo, defending will be easy, because they have a lot of health (and/or more alive). Playing stealthily will save you from defending against many enemys. To add some logic behind this idea, the prisoners need weapons, to keep the guards at distance. My idea is that these are corpus on their own ship (or free humans?), who were boarded and imprisoned (on their own ship) by grineer marines. Rescuing Grineer or on Grineer tilesets doesn't make sense. Because the weapons are DNA-Coded (thats why we need to reengineer it) and the captors have no reason to bring these weapons to their base. Grineer are breed to be loyal and numerous, no need to rescue them. The Grineer would rather destroy the ship or try to reclaim it, not caring for hostages. I hope you pardon my grammar and spelling crimes, english is not my native language. Edited March 21, 2014 by Keldamnar
NitroMidgets
I like any new options as far as mission types.
