[DE]Momaw
Exploring the Orokin towers. Found a fascinating death-trap/obstacle course. What could be inside!? http://imgur.com/a/97Egt .... Damned if I know. :( Next time I'm just going to "cheat" i.e. use teleport.

HillsAndTheSea
usually there is a bunch of mods/affinity orbs, sometimes the mods are good (not sure if this was nerfed though) i used to exclusively run T2 raids and do nothing but search for these, was how i found my first split chamber good times. ReapsterPL
That is the Easy one, there is a similar starting one that around mid way through it you have to jump down a shaft straight to the bottom because inside the shaft " (at each side of the shaft wall) there are bazillion lasers on each side, then you get propelled sky high and you drop again also through a room full of lasers then you see the door almost closing and there are still ice walkways in front of you XD. The one i describe is the one i have the most fun with (except for when my frame gets stuck in the roof couse the physics bugged out and i get proppeled too high :/)
CY13ERPUNK
these were the original VAULTS in the void, there are 3 variation in the void and 1 in the derelicts (though the crates in the derelict CANNOT drop mods, thus making it basically worthless, another DE headscratcher) they have crates inside that have a chance at dropping mods, afaik they can drop most any mod ingame except the dual stat mods (ie NM/corrupted/event) but basically DE has completely forgotten about them and abandoned the concept instead of expounding upon it like they should have (ie make exploration more worthwhile, ESPECIALLY in key-locked content like the void) Edited March 21, 2014 by CY13ERPUNK

But I'm weird I guess. It'd be nice if they expanded the drops on the containers. Dilute those drop tables instead of the end of mission rewards. In the super huge area with trees that connect different rooms. Find a hole at the bottom of the map that lead to a secret room. In the room there will be water with electricity. The container is on the platform in the electric room. I got Split Chamber once here. 2. A room with water in the middle and walkways at the sides. There is shallow part of the water that can get you inside the cave, there will be containers there.

It'd be nice if they expanded the drops on the containers. Dilute those drop tables instead of the end of mission rewards. Yeah I agree. These were so cool when they were introduced, we spent so many clan runs looking for them. But I do feel that the risk/reward concept in warframe has always had problems and this is a good example. The rewards were almost always just normal mods you'd get anywhere, even the T3 ones, so it just becomes pointless. I'd be happy for more difficult traps with guaranteed better rewards. Even if it's just one or two guaranteed rare mods. It's a shame.
MDRLOz
They nerfed it somewhere along the line. When those first came out they gave nice rewards. I am not kidding when I say I got two split chambers and 1 barrel diffusion in one tier 2 Capture or Raid on my first successful parkour run room. However this was around 9 months ago. I did a few recently and got nothing special in them. Mainly ammo drums and point strikes. I feel this aspect of the game has been side lined. The levels are modular and so should the parkour chambers... they are separated by pressure plate doors so it could be done. Imagine a run that was 7 or 8 times longer then the parkours we have currently and was completely random which tiles you got. That would be sweet. As for reward? Well I always thought void should have its own new resources. Those could be used to build prime things like Prime sentinel attachments... Cool cosmetic stuff. Ov3rd0se
I like the obstacle courses and occasionally get awesome mods, but for the most point get ability mods that you get when you build the warframe. I got my Seeking Force in one of these obstacle courses.
Grulos
Why didn't you make it with a Loki? I did it with Frost several times.
Blatantfool
What is 'in there' is a bunch of Loot Containers that have a muuuuch higher than normal chance of dropping mods. There is also a pretty healthy chance those mods will be rare. All in all, if you really get pretty good at breaking in to them, it is worth doing. Blatantfool
Enjoy your No return or Hellfire. Or maybe even Switch Teleport. I've gotten Flow, Streamline and ect from those often enough that if I ever spot a vault while wandering through a mission I'll probably give it a run. Really it comes down to preference. You spend a little extra time on the off chance you'll get something that doesn't suck. I kinda wish that all tilesets had equivalents to the Obstacle Vaults. I'd have more to do. There are always the occasional secret rooms that contain credits >.> If there were chances of vaults on every tileset, that would make the game much more fun as well as slowing people down because when you're rushing, you're not looking for loot rooms that can drop really, really good loot. AhziDahaka
Back in the day the "challenge rooms" as my friends and I called them were half the reason for even doing Void missions. We'd search out every nook and cranny along the way and if we didn't find one before reaching extraction we had our team Volt ready to give the place a quick double-check. I really wish DE made more of these or at least made them appear in more Void mission types. It'd be fun to give one a shot during a dull stretch of a survival mission, though I can understand why they're kept out of exterminates and defenses. MEGASHAFT
It's a really cool concept, but I've found that it's generally not worth the trouble. I'll do them when I'm waiting for other players to catch up if they're moving slow.
