Fps, Graphic Settings

Hi guys :)

 

Just a quick question here. Is Warframe locked at 60fps (frame rate)?

 

I changed my computer. I was playing on laptop and just built my own desktop (i5 4670K, MSI GTX 750Ti Twin frozr OC, 8Go Kingston HyperX, Motherboard MSI Z87-G45), and it seems that the frame rate doesn't change. I'm still around 60fps. The only difference (huge difference) is that I can play with all settings maxed in 1080p on a 23" and stay at 60fps.

 

There is no need to get more, but I was just wondering.

Maxed all settings, using 3 gtx 770s I get 300fps and a consistant 144+.

 

Try turning shadows on low. They have the least impact and most performance gain if you turn them down.

I don't know if my 60Hz screen will handle that though.

If your monitor's max refresh rate is 60HZ, I wouldn't turn off V-Sync, as the visual tearing is annoying IMO.

Screen tearing is the least of your worry. More FPS, more responsive action, even if it's only on milisecond difference.

I'm going to try that tonight. I need to know how far my 750Ti can go.

I tried playing on my PC (I play ps4) and was able to manage 25~ frames with everything off so nope it can definitely drop.....

Yeah sure it can drop, but some games lock the fps to a max rate so I was wondering if it was the same case for Warframe as I couldn't get more anyway on my previous laptop.
