UltimateNinjaWarrior
When there is extreme lag, there is lag assassinations. For example, if you are playing any defense mission and your're lagging hard, you can do assassinations on alert enemies who know where you are. You just kill them and keep on doing that which is very unfair. I seen players assassinate enemies in ODA easily which was very fool hardy as they are getting the free affinity points. ensignvidiot
Question: Where any of these players a Valkyr? or close to a Valkyr? In addition, did someone hack and reset the alarms? have you seen the people utilizing weapons and techniques considered Stealth/Silent?
Ossarian
I think I know what you're talking about. I've joined a couple missions in the past where I have the HUD scramble effect (white haze on the edges, words are scrambled, all the bars are white) for a while after joining because of extreme lag. I joined a Survival with that effect, so the enemies were obviously alerted, but I was able to score a stealth attack. It took several minutes for my colours and hud to load in. UltimateNinjaWarrior
It was pure combat. Everyone was getting hit except for this one player who I think was lagging very hard so he could just go behind enemies and assassinate them without being attacked. And sometimes they won't die so the player keeps on getting free affinity. Does that that answer you Question: Where any of these players a Valkyr? or close to a Valkyr? Sixty5
Assassination attacks deal no more than a charged melee attack IIRC. Plus when you consider that said player could have just as easily have shot said target or just pressed 4 to nuke the entire area, things are more in perspective. UltimateNinjaWarrior
There are new players with he starter weapons at rank 1 who assassinate them and sometimes the enemies don't die so they can repeat this over and over again. {DE}Megan or {DE}Rebecca, if you are reading this, please fix it. This isn't a bug that can be "fixed." It is caused by lag, not game mechanics. If the host had half decent connectivity it wouldn't be a problem. WERElektro
.... I wouldn't want my game to lag for the sake of easy assassination attacks. I don't think anyone would.
