How Do You Get Nice Screenshots?

Question

Hey guys. Just wondering how you guys get nice looking photos, preferably without your own frame in the shot. I tried using the codex scanner but i end up with something that looks tilt shifted every time. Are there any graphics settings to turn on or off to make it look better? Or is there a better way to get good photos in general?

Edit: So I've gotten some replies and talked to some other people and the general consensus is the following:

1. Use your Codex Scanner, or a Sniper weapon.

2. Toggle 'UI in Screenshots" as off in the HUD settings menu

3. Disable "Depth of Field" in Graphics options

This should get you some fairly good quality pictures, thanks guys for helping out!

You could try disabling "depth of field" in the graphical options, which should let you use your codex scanner without the extra "tilt shift" effect. I'm assuming you're using the non-steam screenshot button that can take pictures without the hud?

Yeah I'm just taking screenshots with F6, I just tried it with depth of field off and it looks pretty good thank you!
