Mabuz Posted March 22, 2014 Share Posted March 22, 2014 Here is a suggestion I have been thinking of for some end-game content. Sorry if this is the wrong section. The Idea would be a pure survival map. It will not have any life support, nor a pod needing defending. All it will be about is you and your team.. staying alive for X amount of time. When you start in, the wave will immediately be swarming you, similarly to that of Wave 30+ Survivals. It will not matter if you are within the same area.. or if you are in different room then your teammate. They will just be coming in numbers. This will force you to stay together. There will also be Tiers to this game. Similar to the Voids. However, all the Tiers will share the same amount of time, 20 Minutes. Within every 5 Minutes you will have a random boss spawn somewhere on the map. The boss will be one of the faction on the board. He will have all his abilities, however his level will be increased to match that of the mission. Imagine this. While fighting swarms of enemies, you will have to watch General Sargas Ruk and shoot his opening. This means 2, or 3 of your team members will have to keep you covered while waiting to shoot his weak spot. Not hard enough?.. Good.. there is more. To make sure you get to use each weapon on your load-out, Primary, Secondary, and Melee.. The faction controlling the field will change every 5 minutes. Making it so, for example, your Primary will be for Grineer, Secondary Corpus, and Melee Infested. Otherwise you will not be doing enough damage to kill them fast enough to survive. Granted, everyone can't be using melee at the same time or everyone will die. This makes it so you need to coordinate with your team. But, we are not done yet. The thing that will make Tier 1, 2, and 3 different is this. As I said, within every 5 minutes of holding the field a boss will spawn. On Tier 1, 1 boss will be spawning within those 5 minutes. Tier 2 however will have 2 bosses spawn. Not at the same time, but at a random interval. This doesn't mean there wont be 2 on the field at the same time. If you fail to kill the first one fast enough.. the second will still spawn making you have to fight 2. Same holds true for Tier 3. 3 bosses will be spawning. This will be very demanding on your weapons - making it so you HAVE to use a weapon with that faction bosses weakness on it. As if all this wasn't bad enough. I did say 20 minutes. . . Not 15. Why 20 when there is only 3 factions and each one holding the field will only take 5 minutes? Easy. Because the last 5 minutes all 3 factions will be on the field and join sides to kill the Tenno they all despise. The bosses that will spawn will be drawn randomly from the 3 factions. Yup, that will hurt. Time to switch weapons. . . but to what?.. At the end of 20 minutes, you wont be able to breath a sigh of relief yet. They will just stop spawning at that point. If you ignored a boss you thought you could and just leave him alive at 20 because he spawned at 19 you are wrong. Once the 20 minutes are up it turns into an Exterminate mission. EVERYTHING must die. The hunted, becomes the hunters. Oh, I forgot to mention 1 thing. This is suppose to be "end game" So There will be no "Revives". If you go down, you stay down. The only thing you have is Resurrection during bleed out from team members. If they find a chance between the chaos to do so. I bet you all are wonder what the rewards for such a demanding mission be? Prime parts? Forma? . . Nope. Neither of them. It will be Pure Cash and Resources. This will not be done for some parts.. or just to farm and be bored. This will be done for Prestige. The mission itself will be a contest to all. With your best scores saved in your profile. Every 2 weeks you will be rewarded with something special from the Devs. They can decide on what it is. Maybe a special Syandana, a Color chart. Something. It will NOT be permanent though. It will only last 2 weeks until the next time rewards are ready to be handed out. Every 2 weeks your stats for this map will be wiped. What will determine who wins? Easy. The Amount of kills gained from the entire team. Yup, that's all. The Top 4 players (or more.. Devs decide) Will be rewarded them. Meaning the top Group seeing how the kills are shared between all. You would think.. Why not bring all 4 Novas, Embers, Rhinos. Something that kills fast? The answer is simple. Because you will die. Such high level enemies wont die from 1 simple use of your 4. While you use it again.. you will be shot, and die. You will need Warframes in with you with supportive skills. Be it Trinity for Immunity, Loki for Radial Disarm, Nyx for Chaos. What have you. Otherwise how long do you expect to last? What do you guys think? I just thought it will be a really fun way to kill time. Survival missions are boring until 25+ minutes, but usually by then I am to bored to continue. So just cut out the middle man. Feedback please. Let's say I use Trinity I will be VERY small damage compared to frost, nova ect but I would be extremely valuable. So I would propose a small reward every week (like a key) for completing once and a nice reward for completing 3 times every 2weeks or month. Great idea I think this could tie in well with the end game bosters that the devs were talking about. However you will not be put anywhere near the top of the kill chart. Yes, you have have Link + Penta with Invulnerability. However that will kill what, maybe 4-6 a shot, VS Bringing Nova, Rhino, Ember + Trinity which can MP, World on Fire and Stomp to collectively clear an entire room in the same time? The fact I have Trinity with 28 sec imortal forma 5 + penta forma 5 + sentinel forma 5 with the schild skill, with forma 6 deathcube rifle. So ya It would be for once a chalenge !!!! Permanent mode to replace Rescue and other not so liked game modes. Boosters? Kinda like passive equipable cosmetics so diverse teams can withstand this challenge.
