Should Status modifying Armor Parts and Cosmetics take place in the game?

 

What would you suggest after seeing the Devstream?

 

Do you agree with Armor parts setting as seen on Diablo 3 ?

Hopefully that applies to all cosmetics, potential armor parts included.

I don't think stat affecting things should be linked to cosmetics.

 

If they want to create, design, and BALANCE slottable stat changes seperate from cosmetics I'd be fine with that but cosmetics items with linked stat changes should be avoided, in my opinion.

Cosmetics are cosmetics. Add stats to the paid only cosmetics, and you are getting close to the Pay2Win.

I believe that there has to be some border that will be set so as the Warframe Market can co exist with the free to play game,how do you think that would be possible ?

I think we would need to add some sort of socket système were we could get some sort of «gem» to put in it so that it is fully fair

Not at all I think that no cosmetic should be at all linked to stats.  Linking them implicitly limits choice by making a cosmetic choice take back seat to a quantifiable stat choice.  See also: idiocy surrounding the the Vanguard helmet and think about the last time you saw a rhino without a vanguard helmet run by a player that actually owns a vanguard helmet.

 

Linking stats to cosmetics either unreasonably encourages specific cosmetic items or like in the case of the rhino just limits to the field to 1. Further more, I personally find scarves to be, well a stupid idea, like with the helmet situation putting stats on them would generate pressure for people to equip things they don't even like or miss out on potential game play advantages.
