Controller Bug?

Hi there, just wandering whats going on really. out of nowhere my controller cannot be used in missions, i know this must be a bug as it functions fine in menus (even if i bring up the menu in the mission with my keyboard i can press B with my controller to exit the menu)  and on the planet dashboard... anyone else have this, its only been today, up until now ive been using my xbox controller with no issue at all.. 

 

any fixes please? my hands are too small for this keyboard arghhh

my controller seems fine the only problem is I cant select anything in the menu I can only scroll is yours 3rd party or a microsoft xbox controller

its a legit microsoft controller, i have 2 and have tested both(both are brand new also), and it does the same thing no matter what. also tried restarting the game and all...no luck there either :(

okay i seem to have found the issue, the controller was switching from player 1 to player 3-4... now its back on player 1 i dont know how it changed back but it works now phew -_-

I've had that problem I think its from plugging it in after doing something like putting your computer to sleep or hibernate easy fix is just unplug replug it my controller is  3rd party the afterglow one I have little to no problems with it
