DeathMavrik
To do something right is never an easy task, not by a longshot. With the coming of the new badlands and the new clan wars to maintain control of a space bridges i find a predictable scenario arising. Moon clans will try to dominate all of the space bridges right from the get go. Taxes will then be high and conflicts ill erupt leading to an increase/decrease fluxes in the taxes in order to have more people join on the captured tower as well have other moon clans try to offer lower taxes to fight with them. So every future war will be the same thing until no one has the taste to participate in these fights then the last clans who have the space bridges will then increase the taxes, even if slightly over a long course, to which the cycle starts all over again. Still with me here? Good now here is what i will attempt to do. My goal for this is to create space bridges with no taxes at all. Why? Because i have seen many people complain about the higher numbered clans taking everything from every challenge making others loose any confidence to participate in the competitions themselves, if only just enough to get the non-clan rewards. Why? Because after playing this game for over 730 hours i have found purpose to help others through the game expecting nothing in return but a smile. I do not care about the credits or rewards associated with the holding of the space bridges and i am not part of a gigantic clan, i just have my own ghost clan and that is it. This war for space bridges will bring about only hatred between others and i cannot condone such action and will do my best to strive for a fair solution. If anything follow by example. If i am not able to achieve this i implore others to either help me do this or follow by example and try to establish these bridges not out trying to show people that you are the best clans in the game, but that you respect the fellow tenno out there and treat them like your own. ~DeathMavrik

AhziDahaka
I've always figured that there'd be at least one alliance that has a policy of tax-free or minimum-tax space rails (those rails may have a maintenance cost or something, for all we know). I intend to be a part of that alliance. ...Admittedly, it's pretty easy to say that right now considering there is absolutely no reason for clans to amass large amounts of credits. I actually kind of hope DE comes up with a reason to eventually. Maybe clan members in a controlling clan could receive daily or weekly stipends derived from the collected taxes. Gryphticon
Okay, seems like the only way to achieve total domination is to put a 0% clan tax. Seems legit. Also, stop saying negative things about "every" moon clans. You are not aware that moon clans are actually dying, most of them. I know that DE will put badlands for every alliance tier. staby1
I couldn't agree more players should not have to fight each other so recklessly. This will destroy morale of many players. If anything this event should have restrictions as to who can fight so no one is overpowered. At least for some of the Noobier or weaker clans to get in on this to. Also I believe there should be a limit of how high the tax can be in these zones. This way players can't set it where if you could go in you wouldn't even make enough to go again. as for the minimum should 0 as in you don't even pay 1 credit to go in. ~staby1

SolidSp33d
Not to be a spoil sport, but they will most likely make it so that the rails will require recurring costs to upkeep for the clan who made it. That way taxes aren't really just about greed, and if you wanted to keep one up for free it would actually take some effort on your part and reaching into your own pockets. Keeping upkeep over areas with even rarer things or better conditions would probably even require more upkeep than other areas. Why? Because it would defeat the purpose of it otherwise, and none of the conflict or such would happen. It's supposed to happen. If you can keep the rail up with zero taxes like that, power to you. Drakenreiter
I want to wait and see what's what first, but yes, I do intend to be part of an alliance that focuses on things like this, on making the world a better place and also making people remember that there's more than money in it! Muminidas
DE surely is trying to bring Warframe to a next level, but...... "Badlands" created so much chaos right now and this feature isn't even out yet. I get your point DeathMavrik, big clans get all the fun, small clans suffer from high taxes. Later on "Badlands" become more repetitive, monotonous(sry for any grammar mistakes in advance) and players will scream again for better end-game features. Developers will have to focus on this feature alot to make it shine, to make it a trademark for Warframe (as it doesn't seem to be so original, it'll be very Warframey when it comes out, I believe). Now, "Badlands" bring more questions than answers and many players afraid of this new change. Same as me. Same as you. -CdG-Chocolate_Cat
And if the tower will have maintenance fees? We'll pay for it.We could make an alliance of top ghost clans to help us keep it up too.I'm sure we're not the only ones that want a tax free solar rail. If we have that much case don't you think they will adjust the cost of upkeep to match that? Not a stretch to conclude that. When you have the entire playerbase running on your nodes, you'd be sure that the upkeep will be FAR higher than what most moonclans clans will be able to manage on their own. All it would take is a decent tax rate and it's no problem, but throw that out and it will take a LOT of effort. That's what makes the most sense. Instinction
As the Warlord for a small storm clan, I'd definitely be in on this to help for free solar rails. I generally hate the concept of the badlands as a whole for the reason you stated, moon clans having massive dominance over everyone else.
KaikelX
If it turns out there is upkeep, then I'm also willing to support clans who go zero-sum on it. (or as close as possible, depending on how upkeep/taxing is managed)

Cybernetix
Free solar rails? Sign me up. Here's hoping that the badlands nodes all eventually become locked down by a 0% tax clan that has the unanimous support of every player in the game and we can all look at the other endgame stuff instead. DeathMavrik
wow i thought people where going to crucify me for saying that but im loving this overall turnout. Also in regards to the higher clans i mean no disrespect to them really im just saying what i intend to achieve and if i fail i would like other people to try and do this. if the space bridges require credits to keep functional i will donate from my own time and credits. My clan name is the Lone Templar, and what they did in history was guard secrets and safely escort pilgrims to the holy land never asking for payment, which is exactly the example i will follow. But if an alliance is something that everyone seeks we would need a name: Edited March 23, 2014 by DeathMavrik
