TruBluBarbiQ
Is love still a "thing," or did it die out with the original human race? I haven't seen any reference to it or expression of it anywhere. If Lotus is so concerned with bringing balance to the Origin system, wouldn't it be quite prudent to harness the power of love to some extent to fight the overwhelmingly burdensome negativity which the entire system is engulfed in? JerZeyCJ
I don't see the Tenno, Grineer, or Corpus being the "loving" types

Ziegrif
I hope so. I'm still not sick of all these silly little love songs. I still kind of want to fill the galaxy with silly little love songs. I will bring love and peace to Grineer, Corpus, Infested and everything in between with my superior firepower. But yes. It'd be nice to see civilian life in the Warframe universe and how love, politics and the like affect the galaxy. Y'know. Lore. Backstory. All that good stuff. That_Dalek
Love is probably still around. We just haven't seen it because we only deal with soldiers, not civilians.

That raises another question: are there actually any civilians other than rogue-awol folks? Is Darvo actually a civilian, or a draft-dodger? MeduSalem
Probably there is... But Tennos are incapable of it because we keep on murdering whole outposts and ships full of Corpus, millions of them daily, not thinking about that they might have families back at home waiting for their husbands/daddies to come home. Don't know about the Grineer though... Maybe they are genetically programmed to love the Twins as their mothers or they just love their tubes. RossRam
It exists, but I do not care. It is grimdark noir, like Warhammer. If you'll take it to the unnamed civilians, love still exists among them. But do you play WH40K or Warframe to see a love story? I doubt it. So take your sword and aim your gun. It is time to spill some blood.
marbatico
tbh, the only contact we've ever had with the grineer/corpus where soldiers (to buzy dying to say anything about love) politicians (backstabbing sons of B's) , a crazy scientist and a black market merchant who seems to only love money. TruBluBarbiQ
How much do you "love" your plat?~ Do you love it frequently?~ Now I can just see a Scrooge McDuck based warframe, with a big vault filled with credits that he swims in. AhziDahaka
I wouldn't be surprised if the concept of love were literally engineered out of the Grineer, since they're all clones anyway and it would probably help when you have both male and female troops deployed together. That said, Corpus are, at least as far as we know, relatively unmodified humans and as such they probably have a capacity for that sort of thing. That said, we've also never seen a female Corpus. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a sort of 1950s America approach to gender roles (women being relegated to being housewives, teachers, nurses, secretaries, etc.). As for the Tenno... Well, that's up to us, now isn't it?
