Alad V Is Dead, Now Get To Extraction. Don't Mind Zanuka, Just Run.

Today I decided to wreck Alad V's day, because I wanted Valkyr's systems blueprint.

It began like a normal mission, just run forward and gun down everything in my way.

When I got to Alad V, I emptied a magazine of Gorgon wraith in his face. I only meant to get his shield down to then kill zanuka, but I got a bit carried away and he fell on the floor.

Zanuka rushed to save him, and popped its invinci-shield.

 

That's when it gets weird.

 

Alad V dies. Really. With drops and all. And Zanuka is still there.

I try to kill it but it soon becomes apparent that the thing is invincible.

I'm now very worried about the mission when Lotus intervene and tell me to get to extraction.

So I leg it.

 

And the invulnerable Zanuka followed me.

All the way to the extraction point.

 

That was one of the most tense extraction runs I ever had.

 I think this would add some excitement if that was implemented to randomly happen from time to time.

I remember running my Nyx while doing that mission. Absolute blast indeed.
