Dojo Revamp & Ideas.

So I've spent hours upon hours in the Dojo making it look the best I could. I did pretty well, even managed to create floating platforms.

I couldn't have been happier! 

 

Until I finished placing the limited amount of decorations that actually looked decent in the new tile set; which brings me to my first topic of revamp.

 

1) Tileset - Bring back the old tile set or make new ones. What we have is extremely modern and very well polished, but the previous layout had a dark and ominous feel with a dash of the void to make it feel alive! Just something else ya know? Maybe something like (Art Gallery) an aquarium based layout, or earthy layout (kind of like previous dojo tile set). 

 

2) Rooms - The potential here is limitless! I've actually worked my Dojo around incoming rooms I am so hopeful for them. You've heard it all before; Shooting Range, Warframe testing room, Barracks to access inventory and arsenal so you don't have to leave the dojo, officer office.... All such wonderful ideas that simply ooze with creativity and popularity! 

 

3) Decorations - I literally sit down during the day and think of all the decorations you guys could have in this game that are completely plausible.

 

The first one would be a centerpiece of sorts. A mini solar system with rotating planets (you have no control of roation). If you have seen the movie The Chronicles of Rid$&*^, then this looks familiar to you. I thought this would be a perfect fit (with a dev's take on it) in the Warframe scheme of things.

 

Armor statues. Much like mid-evil armor pieces you see in hallways of great manors and such, but with tenno armor (concept ideas maybe). More statues in general would also be nice to see.

 

Energy color specific lanterns / lamp posts - These would be x10 as awesome if you could change the energy color on them! Hell, why not the entire dojo lights (maybe taking it a bit too far XD ). 

 

Kneeling pads - I am fairly new to this game, but I swear in someones dojo I was able to kneel on a kneeling pad in their Grand Clan Hall. I was so excited to place these around a statue or something neat, but when I discovered they didnt exist in the decoration menu I was crushed. Bring them back? Or bring them forth if they didnt exist before!

 

Things to sit on - Quite complex of a description I know, but something to sit on ya know? Ok enough jesting, Things to sit on would be relieving! It would give the player a sense of relief from duty. Always standing and in a fearsome pose never brought anyone peace of mind. 

 

------------------------------       My Ideas (If not already shared by someone else too): ------------------------------------- 

 

Viewing Room - A HUGE room, about the size of a tier 2 clan hall, with windows the length of the entire room that overlook the nearest planet, ship, or even the void! (Maybe you could see the stalkers ship once a blue moon?)

 

 

Clan Vault Room - Much like in the OD missions that have the vaults, why not have a door that simply leads to your clans vaults? People are itching to contribute to the Dojo, but nothing needs contributing, but when something does and these said players aren't on or are inactive, it would be nice to be able to access what they would've donated anyways. And how about credits that would be exclusively dispensable to clan members in need. I host weekly competitions for plat / bps, it would be awesome (and easier on me :P ) to be able to add credits for them.

 

 

Planetarium - A dome shaped room specifically created for viewing the solar map in its entirety, With your crosshairs enabled, you could choose a planet and view information (Based on codex perhaps) about that planet such as, is it ice? Who inhabits this planet? Are there any invasions currently happening? And most excitingly, the ability to enter missions on this planet through the planetarium, from the comfort of your Dojo. 

 

 

Clan Dojo Invasion - Oh yea!!!!!!! Clan Dojo invasion! Who? Who knows? Maybe the Corpus, Grineer, Infested, an operative searching your vaults???!?!?!? Do keep in mind these are far off and daydreamish hopes, but as you can see I am just extremely excited of the potential that the creation of the Clan Dojo created. 

 

 

Spacewalks - This game can give us everything we dont have on planet earth "IRL", but it all seems so mythical and distant. But spacewalks... that is an explorers dearest dream, and to give someone such a real and possible experience through a game would be monumental! At least for this Tenno.

Those ideas have been voiced so many times =) I do think that DE has noted them and will work on them... soon™... Some dojo upgrades accidentally leaked a while ago, so we saw that DE actually works on the dojo as well. We need to wait and see...

But I think that DE, as Polymelodic said, may already be working on it.

 

Just need to wait and see.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but it wondered whether you could link codex/scans to research topics in the labs - the more varied your codex knowledge, the greater the variety of weapons/items you can research?
