Affinity Problem

Hello,I have been picking up alot of affinity orbs lately and even though i do so it still says "Next rank (GOLD NOVICE) in 1,136". That amount,1136, does not change at all, meaning i cant level up.....

Please can you guys fix this ASAP

Each time you level up a weapon, you get 100 mastery points. 200 if you level up a Warframe.

Getting affinity orbs during missions only grant you more levels to your Warframe.

I hope you understand now that you don't increase in rank by picking up Affinity Orbs, but by leveling up gear.

This is not a bug.

 

The affinity you are talking about is your overall mastery rank and this only increases when you rank up a weapon or warframe.

 

The affinity orbs give XP to you warframe and weapons but not you mastery.

For every 1 rank you gain on a warframe, you get 200 mastery points. For every 1 rank you gain on a weapon, you get 100 mastery points.

 

You still need 1,136 mastery points to level, or roughly 11 weapon ranks, or roughly 6 frame ranks.

 

Affinity orbs give affinity, which builds towards increasing your  warframe's rank. However, unless it actually gets you the next rank, it will not translate directly into any mastery point gain.
