Llyssa
I don't use defensive mods enough to know, but: Under the old system, with max steel fiber and an elemental damage reduction mod, you could effectively block 100% of all damage from an elemental type on certain frames. Under the new system, with max steel fiber and an elemental damage reduction mod, the logic seems that you'd get the post-SF damage reduced by whatever % the mod claims to reduce. Is this correct, or does it actually block 100% of all damage from an elemental type with the right armor rating now?
Cemges
Its multiplied, not added. So it shouldnt block %100 no matter what.
Sebastianx
Same as Trinity's Link + Aviator mod I think...
Sloan441
Damage reduction is multiplicative, so you'll never entirely get rid of incoming damage. The other issue is that using damage reduction mods takes up space that can be used for utility or power on the 'frame. Choices, dictated by playstyle and/or circumstance. I'd be hesitant to restrict that, since it would be homogenizing the game and that's not a good road to go down ultimately.

Llyssa
Okay, yeah. Before, when the numbers were lower, it was additive. So we did, in fact, get the nerf we asked for. GG warframe community.
