Lactamid
The topic. Lets say you're Frost with 190 armor. You then use the Steel Fiber mod to get 110% extra armor - to buff your Snow Globe. Your armor will now be 399 (43% damage reduction). With a maxed out buff from Valkyrs Warcry (114.5% extra armor) you'd get 855.855 armor. ~74% damage reduction. (PSN)natek_morzy
Warcry is a duration buff. Duration: 15 seconds Ally armor buff: Ally Armor increased by 50% Ally attack speed buff: ally attack speed buffed by 50% Enemy speed debuff: Enemy speed debuffed by 30% I could be wrong but I do remember reading about Frost's Snow Globe eventually getting a buff. It will gain more health depending on the Warframe's armor attribute. With a maxed Blind Rage this would increase Frost's armor to 378.1. I do not know if Warcry will/does affect Snow Globe. Rhino's Iron Skin is directly effected by Power Strength. So no. Edited March 23, 2014 by (PS4)natek_morzy
Trouvo
i believe in order for it to effect snow globe you have to be effected by warcry first as it gets the armor rating upon activation? I could be wrong and this would require testing, I havent been able to tell if armor even effects iron skin tho, intensify seems to however
taiiat
that sounds like an interesting test. you'll certainly need Warcry to be cast first, and i have a feeling Snowglobe checks Armor once, and not consistently, so despite being a timed buff, Snowglobe will probably keep the Armor Health bonus. FYI, Armor doesn't just apply to Snowglobe - the Armor calculates a Health bonus. source: Using a combination of ideas from the community and discussions between dev, Frost’s Snowglobe has changed. The changes are:- Snowglobe’s health is now affected by a Warframe’s Armor value. - There is now a temporary invulnerability duration determined by the rank of a given Snowglobe Mod. - Snowglobe’s health is increased by the amount of damage received in the “Invulnerability Duration” window. The numerical details are as follows: Unranked Snowglobe: Health = 1500 + Invulnerability Duration = 1 second Rank 1 Snowglobe: Health = 2500 + Invulnerability Duration = 2 seconds Rank 2 Snowglobe: Health = 3000 + Invulnerability Duration = 3 seconds Rank 3 Snowglobe: Health = 3500 + Invulnerability Duration = 4 seconds Snowglobe Health = Health + (Armor x 5) These improvements are subject to change, let us know what you think! Lactamid
The thing I'm wondering is - if Frost is affected by warcry when activating his Snow Globe - does it get better. I know Warcry is a timed buff, but it would make a pretty big difference to have 74% damage reduction compared to 43%. @ taiiat that's what I'm thinking too. that it checks one time and calculates health similar to "effective health".
