Skrunch
Howdy all. I was just pondering on the idea that the players should get rewarded on the amount of achievements one has gained. Because at the minute they seem like pointless objectives of sorts, so giving one a purpose to pursue the achievements in order to gain rewards is a good implementation. Obviously the more achievements, the greater the reward is. And we could get rewards say every 10 achievements unlocked? Idk, lemme know what you think. Socks
I agree to that. I'm just not sure what type of reward should be handed out with them though. Maybe points toward your mastery rank? Special skins for different weapons? Special color palettes?
Trouvo
They are for us achievement @#&*(s, and have as much really meaning at the moment as any mastery rank over rank 6...just for the "Oh yeah look at me" feeling
7grims
No cant append. Achievements are only for steam players, ppl that don't play with steam and ppl that play on ps4 wouldn't get those rewards.

I personnaly like the idea of skinnes and color palettes espechaly for the achèvements max out 5 of This wepon a skin you get for that type would be nice, I think a reward for all is a nice idea but for the EXTREMY simple ones give like 500credits of a fusion core mode

You do realise he meant about the in-game achievements and not the S#&$y steam ones, right?

In game rewards as the achèvements are not linked to steam and adding them to PS4 so no difrence
Sebastianx
No for all of them, maybe like a bit of credits for those incredibly easy ones, just to get the new people going, and maybe some special cosmetic options for the really hard ones, like the one with reviving 1000 players. Llyssa
I think it would be interesting if they did. It could be especially useful to tie specific awards to specific achievements. It would help with "the newbie effect" on things. Like, for example, if you get a gunner achievement, you get a free serration. Most players have one, but for some people, that would be AWESOME, as the drop is hard to get. Or if you got a dagger achievement you could get jagged edge, sniper achievement could get one of the chamber mods, etc. Something meaningful to your efforts that lets you bypass the RNG. They've been talking about ways to get stuff into the hands of the newbies who REALLY need it, and I think this would work great.

XenosInfinity
I'd prefer to keep achievements as cosmetic awards. There are enough complaints about grinding and/or exclusivity on items already, the problem is only going to be exacerbated if there are actual rewards for them. Rhundis
What is this Xbox? I've only gained rewards for achievements in TF2, and that's about it. You don't need to be given something every time you did a thing.
Mickey1779
I like the idea of rewards for Challenges but would like the rewards to be cosmetic in nature, something you can show off without it becoming a must have. Titles for example. {playername} the Saviour - Complete Saviour challenges for all systems. (some of these are currently BUGGED) {playername} the Gunslinger - Complete all the gun Challenges. {playername} the Swashbuckler - Complete all the Melee Challenges. {playername} the Gambler - Create 1000 Modules via Transmutation. (credit sink). or Badges to unlock for changing your appearance. or Unique color palette. The point is give the players something they can chase after without adding more exclusive "must have" items to the game. You already farm up the Mastery on your weapons, there is no need to add another weapon which then gives more Mastery...never ending cycle. HideorEscape
What do you mean by achievements? There those for the Steam and those that are the challenges If its for challenges then yes, we should earn rewards for completing them but not a little xp. There should be multiple challenges that we can complete and earn good rewards for completing them. If its for Steam, then it should be like "milestones" just like in TF2 After reaching a rank, we should be rewarded with a permanent item... color set or a free syandana or something. Also after getting x amount of achievements, players could get a unique cosmetic, just to show that "Yeah look at me, I have unlocked all dese achievements." xD Edited March 26, 2014 by Skrunch

Well rather doing what every other game does, Warframe will give you the opportunity to get rewarded for your efforts too. It maybe easy for you, me and many others. But not for some. And while it maybe easy, you have to put in the time. So again, getting rewarded for your dedication & accomplishments.
