Ash Arm Smoke

I am playing Warframe with my friend in my clan dojo and he is an Ash warframe.  I notice something on his arm that is not a clan emblem tag but looks like a swirling smoke.  What is this and how does it happen?

It's an event badge more than likely from last event.

It's a animation exclusive to the Ash warframe. He uses that smoke on his arm to go invisible in the smoke screen ability.

Ash is a smoke based warframe (kinda) and only ash has that animation i know this cuz i have ash too

Probably an event with a status effect and elemental damage mod and wraith weapons as a reward. Like Cicero Crisis and Tethra's Doom.

 

I predict Fire or Freeze mods and Melee wraith weapon, as the last two were a secondary and primary, respectively.

It was either the Quantum Event Badge from Tethra's Doom or his idle animation.

it's totally a badge and not part of Ash's normal design or anything. or possibly aliens. no wait! it's the grineer.
