Alerts Available To Those Who Have Cleared Entire Star Map

It was a giant pain in the rear clearing my entire star map. Now I see that players get an alert wether they've cleared the node or not, thus making it easy for those same players to spam for taxis in between mooching void keys. I'd like to see special alerts available only to those of us who have unlocked every node on the map. The payout could be rare resources, research materials, larger sums of credits, or maybe even new weapons, skins, syandanas etc.

Opinions and ideas?

I like the idea of some kind of reward for clearing the entire map.  It's kind of an accomplishment.  I actually liked it when you had to clear a node to see the alert.  Made it harder.  Created incentive to clear the map.  I liked that.

agreed. It was a payoff in itself to finally get alerts shown to me. Now it's almost a slap in the face when you have all these new players catching taxis to alerts clear out to Pluto. Then they get all crimped because they can't get a taxi to a Vauban alert. Aside from other players, I just feel like it would be a cool reward for clearing your map. Or maybe even access to special orokin missions. I'm sure DE could come up with a proper reward, but its something I wish they'd consider.

Better be a pretty decent reward to make me do the 1/2 dozen capture and spy missions I have left let alone the dozen or so others.

The problem right now is clearing the whole map is not an accomplishment really it is just self inflicted torture right now doing a bunch of missions I don't want to do.

But really?  I understand the feeling that you did something that others don't have to do now and that leaves a bit of a bitter taste, but frankly the way the game is now is better, especially considering the way the alert reward systems work.  There is nothing wrong with taxis and those who ask for them.

Yes.

It would actually give me incentive to clear my entire star map.

Here's incentive: Doing a node you haven't done before gives you some affinity towards your mastery.

OP, I agree. Some awesome system-wide alerts for those only with totally-unlocked solar rails.

I have yet to complete my Star Map, but I think this would be a great idea. Not enough people are doing the star map missions these days, because theyre too busy mooching for void missions. And simply because when an alert does appear, they can simply ask for a taxi to said node, instead of actually experiencing the initial game.

I was thinking these special alerts could give the immortal skins as a reward. I just find those skins something that we want really bad, but find better things to spend plat on.

I really like this idea, and do support it. What I don't support is the taxi part, which I believe should be taken out. It essentially allows someone to carry another person. For example, an alert comes up in pluto. The reward is some random mod (doesn't matter which) that happens to be needed by a low level player. I don't mind the thought of helping some newbie, but I want them to work for their progress. To give them a taxi service means they won't have to go through the work of clearing the way up until the region they need to get to. They'll just magically pop in there and have complete access to that spot. Whether they can complete the mission or not is beside the point, since the one providing taxi service is likely geared enough to carry the passenger anyway.

Even if it's not a newbie, and it's a very powerful player with several well-modded frames and weapons. What if he/she didn't bother to clear up to the alert point? Thing is, it's not necessary due to the taxi option. I know someone will say "it doesn't concern you, so leave it alone." Well it does concern me because I'm the one annoyed by it.

not to mention they are able to queue in high level nodes unlocked by previous alerts.

I swear I wanna find and choke that MR2 Excal who ruined my Mobile Defense when Ceres was on Outbreak.

Are you sure about that?

I did the Gift of the Lotus alert on Cerberus (Pluto) last Thursday, automatically unlocked for the alert with no taxi required, but it sure didn't unlock it permanently.

I dunno if anything changed.

Last time I was carried by my clanmates on few alerts, those were got permanently unlocked for me.

I think it has changed.  I was taxi'd by clan mates twice in the last week and I noticed that the node wasn't unlocked afterwards.  I'll have to experiment with this to make sure I didn't just load out onto a random planet.
