Some Changes To Ui I Would Like To See

I just wanted to give some feedback on the UI out of a mission that is

bugging me for a while now. Maybe the ideas are worth implementing at some point

 

 

1. Chat.

Can we get an option to keep the chat window open please?

I would like to keep an eye on the clan chat and squad chat also in mission.

The chat window frame fades out after a while and this is OK, and should stay

so you can see through the text. But please add the option in the settings

to let us choose if we want to display the chat always or not (i.e. it will act like it does now)

 

2. LFG tool

Please have a look at some MMOs 

most of them incorporate cool LFG tool where you can select which

types of missions you are looking for and what class you have.

Something similar would be awesome in here. You could sign up stating

I want this or that mission types, and which frames you could bring.

Hosts can then just easily invite from the LFG list.

 

3. Clickable names in the chat.

If I want to invite someone I can either type /invite or find his name in the name list on the right

and right click the name. 

Can we please get the option to click the name in the chat window directly?

This would add so much more easy of use.

 

 

4. Trading

instead of trading channel can we get an additional market place.

Note this is not an auction house! I mean a market place where I can post

what I want to sell and players can search through all items that are offered

if they find an item they can contact the seller to make the trade.

 

Even better would be the version like in so many MMOs that I can 

by the item directly from the market place and it will end up in

my inventory the money goes to the seller and the tax is deducted.

 

This could be implemented in addition to the already existing trading.

Rather, I would like to have a "Custom" Tab where you can choose which Chats are being displayed.

I would love to be able to keep track of Clan Chat while in a mission and also watching Squad Chat, for instance...

Sure I would second that too

just like in MMOs where you can configure your chat and subscribe to different streams

in a window

 

But main point is that there is a config option to keep a transparent chat window open

at all times

I second all that feedback. Those changes to chat would definitely make it less cumbersome to use.

 

I also thought it could be useful to have an optional clock in the UI so people without clocks can see how recent the messages are.
