MidnightMunchies
Why? WHY!? Why most you be so expensive just for me to shell out even more to make it all? Ex: Akbalto blueprint is gonna cost me 15k, just to put 2 bolto's together. It literally says you need 2 bolto's and an orikin cell, and your gonna cost 15k? PLUS! An additional 20k to slap the two guns together until they like one another..... REALLY? Its bad enough I got to sit on a lvl 30 frame for another 2 and a half days, but now my weapons maxed out.... *sigh* the woe's a noob life. Skynin
Even for new players that's not a high price. This is not like you should have access to everything instantly.I'm almost at Rank 15 now, only crafted and leveled up Bolto/Akbolto week or two ago.But actually weird, why do i need something else other than another gun to make its dual version. Grimfrost
Well, what you can actually read from the blueprint iswhat you need to bring to the table, not how your gonna asemble it.You havent actually read the blueprint yet, no one of us have. SquirmyBurrito
This will teach you to plan/build ahead. I (used to) always have something sitting in the foundry. Now I just let them take up space in my inventory (my miter is still ~level 6). Edited March 26, 2014 by SquirmyBurrito

MidnightMunchies
I'm curious here. I'm thinking of buying $20 of Platnium (370 Plat.) My plan is to buy a Bolor and a Galatine. Would this be wise? The bolter is a really good rifle from what i've seen and heard. and the Galatine has an amazing Charge strike. Edit: Or should I purcahse a frame and craft the wepons? Note: I have a rhino being made, and a Oberon just finishing up its final part to start constructiing the whole. Spliffy_McGee
On slots? Weapon/warframe slots. Regaring OP: I dunno how you plan ahead or anything, but personally when I'm in need of creds, I sell off all my extra mods. Last time I did, I got about 350k. Like maybe 2 more warframe slots, and blow the rest on weapon slots.

MidnightMunchies
Alright! I went ahead and sold most of my extra mods, checked my inventory, and noticed I had just enough to craft Galatine! So that frees up alot fo the Plat for some warframe slots and a few weapon slots. Thanks guys for letting me know before I made a huge mistake! May still by Boltor with the plat, but only because I'd like it to have a reactor. :/ Edited March 26, 2014 by CapnCrunch13
Arlayn
I didn't realize we had a limit to how many warframes we could hold onto, nor the amount of weapons. its painfully limited. I threw all my plat at weapon slots, and warframe slots. Even with that I am running out of weapon slots, and I have all the weapons in the game, but Detron. (be ready to spend a crazy amount of plat on slots...) You start with I think 4, or 8 slots for weapons. I have over a 100 now... With warframes you start with 2 unless you use your beginner plat on buying a third slot. Edited March 26, 2014 by Arlayn

Thank you for bring that to my attention! For now I have Galatine crafting, and that allows me to purchase the slots. Edit: I actually have 3 slots for some reason. Wahooo
I didn't realize we had a limit to how many warframes we could hold onto, nor the amount of weapons. 2 warframe slots and 8 weapon slots are all you start with. They are the only things in the game that matter AND must be purchased with plat. Other than my 50 starter plat I spent on potatoes way back when slots are the only platinum purchases i've made and I have no regrets. I would counter the advice to only buy a few frame slots then load up the weapons. I like holding onto the frames but the weapons I've sold quite a few of them so I actually only buy either when I need them and often enough with weapons I'll sell a weapon I don't like to make room rather than buy new slots. Depends on what you are going to want to hold onto more, weapons or frames, for me it is frames and right now I have a few on the list that as soon as they hit 30 they are gone. That being said I do have 19 frame slots, so that is 17 I had to purchase. I have I think 40 weapon slots, but there were some event weapons that came with their own slot. So they do start to add up fast. Also I would say wait for a log-in discount before purchasing the plat. the 50% is rare the 75% is super duper rare, but if you want one it is a pretty good chance to just skip a day of logging in and you should get one in the next few days after that for a 20%. AarkTheDragon
Just be thankful it's not costing you platinum. I have no issue with grinding a few missions for the components and credits needed to build something, but when I'm trying to advance and everything i'd need like inventory slots, Forma, and other things cost platinum, i start getting irritated. I don't care how cool your game is DE, if i wanted to play a pay-2-win/pay-2-advance game i'd go play one of those dumbass f2p "mmorpg" games that get spammed in google adverts like league of angels or some crap. Slots are the only thing you need to buy, and really you don't even need to buy those. There are also other ways of getting plat now with some selling. Granted it is a bit of a buyers market so it can be hard to get anything people will pay for early but that can come. Forma isn't needed for a while, and once they are you can get them in the void, just go to recruiting and run any void missions with a group T2E or T2C for example usually have people running them that are capable of doing it solo, just follow them through and get the reward, sell some of those rewards and buy a potato or a slot. Yes it takes patience, but the game is very free to play. It is not in any way pay2win and very far from pay2advance. It is pay-2-notbepatientandgetitnow however. If you are patient, you don't have to spend a penny. Just sell mods and blue prints to get plat and you can get all of the plat only items. The rest of the stuff you can farm. (PSN)LUCKY_JOEL
I would simply make most of the purchase on Warframe slots and Weapons myself. THough I find Warframe slots more useful than Weapon Slots because you only need a few to be efficient. I may have already enough slots to be satisfied but I only need just 5 weapons total to get the results. Only reason is that I like to fight each faction by their weaknesses, so one weapon for each: Puncture, Slash, Impact. One very damaging Melee, and all-round secondary, which can be Detron (When modded right) or Twin Gremlins.
