Skarmax
In Devstream 24 (or was it 23?) DE showed a preview of Hubs - a successor for star chart. And some days ago, this threat was created https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/200384-question-to-the-community-would-unmasked-npc-tenno-be-a-good-idea-to-you/ . And I suddenly had an idea: what if you could trade with Darvo, our favorite Corpus merchant? It would add more depth to the game and make the world more consistent. And I don't know about you guys but there is no such thing like "enough Darvo" in Warframe P.S. Mods, I think it's more general discussion than suggestion :)
Genoscythe
Thats rather a problem than cool. I want to buy stuff quickly and without loading or running around. So there should still be the normal market for those who like it that way imo. Did you play fable 3? The menu that was designed like a room was horrible, and on the long run its just annoying. Guest
there is no such thing like "enough Darvo" in Warframe Quoted for truth. Also, I support.
Angius
Yes, I wan't Darvo standing beside the counter, screaming "Hey! Hey, you! Pink Rhino with Phage! Aren't you interested in Stalker Pack? It's 50% off today! What'd you say, huh? A scythe, set of throwing knives, bow, everything certified by Stalker himself!" Fable 3's menu is like an exaggeration of a physical shop being negative. That thing is just bad from concept, to design, implementation, to sfGSEsaEGAEjlag. Anyway, I feel that a good idea is to make the UI of the shop essentially be like a screen showing feed of Darvo when you first open it along with some redesigned interface. Basically kind of like a trade link with Darvo. And you can walk up to his physical shop in the hub and see this wares there as well as the equipment he uses to communicate with you by trade-link. Yeah, trade-link. That sounds good. I'll tm that. Edited March 26, 2014 by SolidSp33d
Morec0
The Hub may be an issue for this because of loading, but having an animated talking Darvo image with the marketplace commenting on your hesitation and purchases would be AWESOME.

Morec0
I'd love this idea, especially if there were amusing lines that went with it. "You're taking a while to make your choices, Tenno. Do you not have enough credits? I could give you a lone... with only 'moderate' interest as well."
Angius
"So you bought a Bolto bleprint, huh? Good choice! Bt maybe you'll be interested in buying also second one? And Akbolto blueprint? You know what they say, two heads are better than one! Oh, you fought Lephantis... Oh! If you'll ever do that again, I can sell you Team Health Restores a bit cheaper!" notionphil
But darvo isn't a fully stocked merchant, he's a black market dealer. I'd love to seek Darvo out in some shady corner of the hub, amidst Grineer and Corpus ex-pats sharing a Greedy Milk Ale. However, he'd never be the Tenno's one and only quartermaster as the thread title suggests. Edited March 26, 2014 by notionphil

DanSsenpai
You could make it so you could build a market in the clan dojo. You could have darvo stood in a shady corner trying to sell his goods

But as i stated, he should "replace" (see the ""?) meaning, that you still would be able to buy stuff like now, quick and boring The Hub may be an issue for this because of loading, but having an animated talking Darvo image with the marketplace commenting on your hesitation and purchases would be AWESOME. yes, just because of his comments. Darvo should only be in the hub when it's "Darvo Deals" time. the rest of the time there should be a Salesman-Tenno sporting a unique Salesman-Warframe selling you the things! why turn down the opportunity to add more characters? :x
8bit_Ghost
I would love to see more Darvo but instead of him replacing the tab I think it would be nice if he sorta just talked while you are in the market. As a hologram or something idk

Morec0
Well, although I agree, that someone COULD replace him but noone will ever have enough of DARVO factor Not sayin' anyone should REPLACE Darvo, we're saying that Darvo is our Black Market guy, we go to him for specialty deals and items - the Courier would be our regular go-to merchant that the regular in-game market tab represents. I'd go with: Numb the Pain. Team armour buff, costs 25 energy (?). Greedy Milk Slick. Causes enemies within a set radius of you to slip and fall over. While the effect lasts, they are unable to get up and instead slide around on the floor trying to get to their feet. Costs 50 energy. Hire Mercenaries. Like Shadows of the Dead, but doesn't require you to kill anything first. Enemies scale to the level which you're currently fighting (so it won't be come useless at higher levels). Costs 75 energy. Open the Vault. Brings out a briefcase and slams it on the ground to open it and shoot out an enormous quantity of 1 millicredit coins at high speed. It's a line of sight continuous attack (like a cross between Sound Quake and Radial Javelin) dealing 90% impact and 10% toxic damage per hit (because copper is poisonous). Costs 100 energy,
