Tenno And The Animal Kingdom

Were the Tenno spliced with animal DNAa prior to being sent to the Void?  With few exceptions, the Tenno are closely tied to a creature in the animal kingdom.   Either their body, head or both:

Ash / Saryn - Insect

Ember / Zephyr -  Birds

Loki - Bison / Bull / Moose

Rhino -  Rhino

etc.

There are some odd ducks in the mix like Frost, Mag and Nova, but Frost kind of fits in with a turtle and Nova's alt helmets look like animals as well.  Plus Nova is an exception since she is a recent creation.  Is there any mention of the animal tie?  Is it just a theme for the frames?

Loki is no animal; he is the Master Race. The origins of He who is the master race cannot be deciphered to this date. Although he does resemble a Hammer-head shark thing...

Sharks are at the top of the food chain. Thus reinforcing Loki as the Master Race.

I see it this way..

Ash - Cockroach - Cause default helm looks like a cockroach
Ash - Mole - Cause Scorpion Helm looks like a Mole Rat

Saryn - Cat - Cause default has nekomimi
Saryn - Parrot - Cause Chlora looks like a parrot.
Saryn - Turtle - Cause Hemlock is Bulbasaur

Ember - Turkey - Backdraft looks like a turkey
Ember - Chicken - Phoenix looks like a chicken

Rhino - Pig - Cause Thrak

Trinity - Lobster - Cause duh. And also, they are both immortal. :P

Frost - Crab - Cause it looks like a crab
Frost - T-rex - Do this. Crouch, then walk. He looks like a walking T-rex.

Nova - Anglerfish - Flux looks like an Anglerfish to me

Loki - Shark - Well. Everyone knows.

Oberon - Cow - Default looks like cow
Oberon - Deer - Oryx looks like a deer

Nyx - Lizard - Vespa looks like a Lizard

Valkyr - Cat - Bastet is cat.. Plus the claws.. And the leash.

Valkiry is the only animal based warframe. And it's not even really animal based,it's more of a warewolfish thing.
Tenno are just orokin, the warframe itself may remember animals or mitological figures but that's it.
If someone make a sculpture of a bird doesn't mean he was born from one:v

Actually, if you look at some of the physical features of the tenno, they are impossible.

Look at oberon's fore arms, they are too thin. (just an examples)

It's hard to believe that they are not at least loosly based around animals.

if you read excalibur codex entry you'll learn that tenno are just infested (maybe on a low level) orokin that returned from the void.Personally, orokin could be insect for what i know,i don't think they ever released pictures of a orokin,so they could resemble E.T  for what i know:p

After all,the humans are the grineer,so orokin are "aliens" i guess.

As far as I know the only thing the Tenno were exposed to was the Technociye virus.

Effects include, superhuman strength, agility, and a creeping metal-like mutation both internally and externally. This mutation causes immense pain- and tends to drive victims insane. If (supposedly) gathered lore can be trusted, then the humans chosen to become Tenno were drawn from Hayden Tennos' DNA. This would have allowed them to assimilate the virus and retain it's beneficial effects (among other things). However we can assume than the Tenno were able to better assimilate the virus as the melee weapons we use are not from our physical bodies- meaning that the assimilation must have been monitored and experimented on by the Orokin until it was perfected, and we retained the look and general physiology of human beings.

The properties of the Void must have reacted uniquely to the human/technocyte DNA causing mutations which resulted in various ESP.

Now, my personal theory is that Nekros was one of the earliest experiments, as his body closely resembles one of the heavily infected individuals from Dark Sector (very slim, missing appendages). Perhaps the Nekros Warframe was a test of how much of the virus the human body could handle, or how far the infection could spread before expiry. Given the technocytes property of mentally degenerating it's victims perhaps the original subjects of the Nekros experiment were so infected that even they began to suffer these side-effects. Thus giving birth to the more morbid play-style of Nekros.

The ember codex speak of children with ember power on an orokin ship that returned from void. It's not know if they were tenno put there for a mission,or the orokin were sending children to the void to create new tenno (Thus, experimenting)

Necro could also be an heavily infected frame, not necessarily the earliest.

But the orokin were on earth. Based on the lore I saw the orokin as a human faction, like the corupus and grineer only more advanced.

And you've seen what happened to the grineer because of their cloning. The orokin could have created the tenno instead of them being a faction themselves. I am aware that the tenno are infected with the technocyte virus, this is supposed to be where their powers come from.

Still i wish there was a better lore in game.Or even on a codex.Every time i want to understand something about the lore,i have to go on the wiki or search on google, and still there's not much or it's pretty confused.I'm not asking for a cristal clear lore, mind you,i like it with it's mistery, but it's just hard to grasp it,there are no information whatsoever when you play except a couple of codex entry. For example,i know that grineer cloned themself, but the game says nothing about it.Where did people learn this from?Or the two queens thing, read about them in a couple discussion but there's no reference about it in game (not that i know of).Sigh..if they added a story side in game,i would also feel more interested at completing the nodes.

It is heavily implied that the Orokin is humanity as we know it in a farther future, after their fall, the Orokin split into smaller factions which led to the Grinder and Corpus today.
