xShadowsaur Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 (edited) Wow, this is fast but I stumbled upon this. This bug has multiple levels, both on a UI level and an animation level. First, let's speak on the UI level. The new proto-armor skin comes with it's own helmet! this disables the use of other helmets and even the selecting of other helmets in the arsenal. This makes sense. Now, here's where the issue comes in. When looking between an aesthetic loadout where one has the proto-armor skin and one doesn't, one can "bleed" into the other. Let's refer to them as A and B. If I select A to have a proto-armor skin, A's helmet slot will vanish. If I then go to look at B, the slot will be missing too, whether or not I have the proto-armor equipped on it. Likewise, if I select A to have a default or immortal skin, and then I look at B which has the Proto-armor skin, the helmet slot is there. Now, once the helmet slot is there, you can select it and choose another helmet. This is where another bug comes in.This new bug does such: It actually seems to mesh the two helmets. Within one helmet you can see the other.Before anyone asks, I tried it with all helmets and I tried it with both excalibur prime and standard excalibur. And the gold should still stand out. The MAIN issue is it doesn't last past the selection of it. It just reverts.

It's still un-fixed. I hope someone from DE notices this post, but I doubt it since no one responded to it.

But no Dev has commented on this, I'm worried they don't know of this bug's existence since it wasn't fixed in the hotfix (I checked)

The same helmet shape but with the new skin texture (except for the gold on the prime)

The same helmet shape but with the new skin texture (except for the gold on the prime) or even better idea, why not use the armor skin for ultimate ingame mode like have u played god of war when the bar goes full u go god mode, same as get more skill or requirment things to do and unleash Ultimate mode where u release the ancient or armor up where ur stuf goes double dmg speed or ability ups or any new set of ability etc. that would be major game changer why need new skin when u can have two diffrent modes normal mode and ultimate mod.

So what you want is this skin to have what the zephyr had only more elaborate? Or are you suggesting that they make something cosmetic have stat value? Because they already ruled that out. Though I'd love to see a Hayden-Frame. His powers would be : temporary Invisibility, temporary invincibility, mobile shield, and Manual superglaive (just like Hayden)
-Grizzlye- Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Thats upon Dev to think about we just suggest or express our ideas they make it happen or imrpove it i ment to say add varios combo or ability for two Frames can use certain mods to make a Team Combo or Ultimate mode Eg Excalibur goes in his ancient mode inreased dmg in meele guns and other things cant work since their not part of body or need body force but for that Ember can use her fire power into bullets making explosive gun fire in her ultimate mode she can.. like cast ability "Sun" setting herself on fire so intense she becomes a ball of tremendous fire or harness power of sun itself for limited time she can ram into any enemy just in its range any enemy not just turn to body ash it just turn into real ash on floor but if Dev can add lil edditing like Surround environment effect like frost ice effecting environment or ember fire melting the surrounding and saryn toxic and other effects having environment hazards, infutur this will be major effect make the game realistic then fantasy Rpg types they all have same things but if they can do such things its "big deal" not as cutsceen but your own art of distruction!
