Vandal weapons are described as Tenno Improved. Look at the Lato sometime, and you'll see lotus imagery on it.  It's not a corpus weapon, in any respect.

I'm thinking 'dex' is the equivelent to wraith and vandal and not like orokin. Basically they wanted an exclusive tenno weapon but didn't want to block out the possibility of having a furis prime.
