Hellfire+Thunderbolt = ?

SOOOOOO, since thunderbolt is a firey explosion, would the Hellfire mod help that?

Hopeing to increase that explosive AoE damage.

your overall elemental damage is added to the explosion, yes. It essentially gives you a non-silenced, AOE arrow with a tiny bit boosted damage cause of the explosion. Otherwise, all your damage is transferred.

No. Thunderbolt only ever does a static 250 damage, no matter what. This of course means that it's garbage at higher levels.

It's because anyone with half a braincell could tell you that's a bad idea.  Yet somehow that's actually how it works.  No wonder people don't believe you when they don't already know.
