New Conclaves / New Mode - Devs Please Look

So, I guess i'll start by saying that I love this game.  I've been a player since just after the first Vandal weapons were released (something that bugs me to this day XD) and I fell in love way back then.  Currently i'm a mastery 13 or 14.

But here's the problem.  I don't play anymore, besides events, and honestly I have little to do.  Besides the elusive original Vandal weapons, I have every weapon in the game - including the primes, clan weapons, etc.  I have every frame, prime or non, and so on and so forth.  Besides leveling everything to 30, I have little to do.

When Conclaves were introduced, I got excited. I thought this was something new and would be amazing, but was sadly nothing like what I imagined.  This isn't to say some players don't enjoy it, but the players I used to frequently play with did not.  This, and the paragraph before, are what I'm focusing my attention on - the dropout rate of high level players.

I have talked with what im about to share with several friends that play(ed) Warframe for more than the events in the past, all of whom are founders and mastery 13+.  We all think this would be a good thing to implement, and would bring us back to play for hours more.  My suggestion?

-drumroll-

*New Conlaves* (of sorts)

What I originally thought Conclaves would be like was a large, open map, where Tenno could duke it out TDM style.

I imagined large maps where Tenno could wallrun, slide. flip about, and generally cause havoc and fun while fighting.

In my opinion, this is not what we got. Again, not bashing the current conclaves or DE (love you guys <3).

What I personally would like to see is this:

But Anna, that's a Halo map.

Right. It is.  This is Valhalla, from Halo 3.  The map is quite large, and as an example suites my needs.

This is the image of PVP TDM in Warframe I want you to visualize.

A team of (4-8?) Tenno spawn on each side of the map. The timer ticks down, and then the players are free to move.  They quickly sprint for the nearest weapon (as you can see, i've poorly layed some out for both sides) Each TDM map, depending on side, could have sets of weapons (such as prime weapons, vandal weapons) at their disposal, as well as more powerful weapons like a Sniper rifle or Launcher further into the map.  This is all basic to a past Halo player, but this is Warframe, so i'll fix address what you might be thinking is a problem.  Higher level players would crush newer players.  The mods and forma on a weapon would be overpowered, and so my solution would be to remove it.  Every weapon in the TDM mode would have base stats and no mods allowed, and certain weapons would be found on the ground like in many games.  In addition to this, Warframe powers could be removed when necessary, such as Rhino's iron skin, to avoid people only playing Rhino.  The game would be set to a certain amount of kills.  When killed, a Tenno could open their inventory and spawn with the (unmodded) weapon of their choice - within reason.

Anyway that was a rushed explanation at best, but I figured it couldn't hurt to share.  This is also in no way me saying i dislike the game or think that DE is doing a bad job, only wanting to see something like this implemented, along with some other high level players I've talked to.  Thanks for taking your time to read this, and have fun out there.

DE said that they are adding more endgame content for higher level players (Something called the badlands) which is like Armored Core V conquest.

Now abut the actual game mode the idea is great is just that with the new updates, the melee 2.0 the balancing will be problematic even with the removal of base mods and warframe abilities. I think we should just wait and see how the BADLANDS endgame that DE is making will turn out before we resort to competitive gameplay.

On a more personal note I am not to crazy about competitive gamemodes on warframe for the soul reason that I play warframe to avoid competitive gaming. Since its at times enraging and in most modern fps unfair and downright unplayable.

Edit: DE also said that they do not want to focus on PVP. It seem like theyre treating it more liek a novelty than a serious gamemode.

Well, i never meant for this to be competetive. Just another mode.  And also, there are a ton of players who prefer PVE that would like to see PVP in Warframe as well.  I think DE should at least delve into the idea a little deeper.

While i do like the idea of a bigger conclave, I think it needs to be more clan oriented. I would like to see a conclave in a clan dojo. Why does a clan have to lower its ranking with losses just to teach new joins how to play? We already have dojos that we can somewhat add to, why not conclaves. I also want to see a firing range next to the different baracks with appropriate bot dummies to shoot target practice upon. Dont forget about the ammo bench next to it that would let us change our mods in dojo. my 2 cents...
