Now with Excal's new Proto Skin looking Exactly like Hayden's Suit in Dark Sector has me wondering as to why i shouldn't get this for free or something exclusive for playing the game back when it first came out. I've beaten the game multiple times on both PS3 and Xbox 360 and i enjoyed it very much. So i've been enjoying the company's game long before Warframe. Comparing to Battlefield Players, they get rewarded with Exclusive items and Dog Tags for being Veteran players and playing some of their older games. It would be a cool idea if the DE's would do the same.

Dark Sector came out years before Warframe, and it was intended from the start to be Warframe (i.e. a sequel was not planned until the devs realized how disappointed they were in DS). There is no reason to reward WF players for playing DS so many years ago.

How would they prove this? I just got the game last week for 2 dollars, if they were to do something like scan 360 histories, how would they know the difference between someone who just got the game and someone who got it years ago?

No. Too much time and effort for such a minor thing.

Yeah, and even for those on PC they can check the Steam account if it's hooked up. I think that'd be nice, a little bit of a thank you to the fans. Even if it's something small, like a badge, that'd be pretty cool.

On PC they could check using steam. If they are connected already I'm sure there's a way they could get authentication. Somehow see if it's in your library and whatnot.

"OMG I GOT DS ON CONSOLE INSTEAD OF PC AND YET I DONT GET ANYTHING FOR BUYING BASICALLY THE SAME PRODUCT WTF"

Ragey tones aside, that's a valid complaint. It's all or nothing.

Then show them your receipt from when you purchased it. *Shrugs* There's no way to validate it really.

"Oh darn, I threw away my receipt years ago! AND I PAID BY CASH!"

Of course you can always take a pic of it with your IGN and whatnot. But seriously, it would take too much work to reward all those who actually qualify and as well as some "bugs" getting something for free since all the approvals are ganna be done by humans and not computers.

Dark Sector was pretty buggy, with quite possibly the worst control system ever used in a video game:

However, a Nemesis skin would be nice, if they could figure out how to actually fit it on any of the existing frames (it was wierdly proportioned).

For the Lex? Yeeeeeeeeeeah...

lex...9mm...

just lost another 25% hope in humanity.

As for rewards too much effort.

EA releases new battlefield every year so its no problem to make rewards for them especially when they can track them on origin.
