letir
^^^ After such cool Proto-Ex, can we got more WARframes? Add normal boots, armor plates, straight lines, additional army equipment such as holsters, pockets for ammunition, backpacks and so on. I can understand "ninja-fantasy" aesthetic of this game, but sometimes it's just... meh. Bird suit? Goat suit? Rolling with Horus helmet? Wallrunning with high heels? We are soldiers, not bunch of clowns. And our frames is battlesuits, they must be adopted for humans warfare as much, as it possible. TL:DR More military skins. Pls. 123Olympian
They may of just added it for the fact if was a reference to DS. I would kind of hate military skins, as I played this game to not remind me of CoD. Edited March 27, 2014 by 123Olympian
Katakuna
I believe Mynki and the art team are actively trying to avoid doing stuff like that. What with their aim to make the warframes unique and organic and all that. Edited March 27, 2014 by Katakuna
Casardis
The Proto-skin is a throwback at DE's game Dark Sector which is set in the same universe, with Hayden Tenno (the one who was wearing this suit) was considered and officialized by DE as "the first Tenno." We aren't soldiers necessarily. We're a bunch of space farmers ninjas. Also, we certainly aren't regular "humans" so there's not really such a thing as "adopted to human warfare" in this context. In fact, that's the main idea of Warframes: no one besides the Orokin and the Tenno know how to use a Warframe, except Alad V. who managed to somewhat use it (and it's not even using the Warframe as it is). So no. Expect more magnificent codpieces, goatees, bewbs and butt suits, and ninja socks. Edited March 27, 2014 by Casardis
Mcl_Blue
No, no and no. Just no. This isn't COD, and you don't seem to understand why the Proto Armor is the way it is.
letir
Backpack is "adpatation". I mean, it's very cool suits with shining powers, but you need to bring ammo anyway.
Renathy
This has been suggested a lot, since the first proto-armor release.

Renathy
Since last night? Pretty much, yeah. I wanted it to sound like it has been suggested a lot more than as much as it was. Edited March 27, 2014 by JRMC
ServareVitas
I agree more realism would be nice, perhaps webbing/vests too... Unsure where all of our magazines come from exactly...
Aka_Miso
well we could get one for nyx the proto skin is a reference to Darksectors main character nyx is similar to the enemy of the game so she might get a skin like that but besides that I don't think we could get anymore skins like that and anyways that would... Mcl_Blue
You don't seem to understand, why different skins exist. Different tastes. No, you don't seem to understand what the Proto-Armor is all about, since you think there should be stuff like this for other frames.

ENDER357
it would be nice to have the armors seem more functional, but i can see why they would want to keep them sleek, besides if things like the voids exist then its not hard to explain the ammo, just stuff it into a void pouch and you're good

Mak_Gohae
I've been meaning to make a petition for pouches. Ninjas use pouches so we should get some of those. Maybe we can use the pouches to tell who has what aura.

That means you have played it then. Whoever hears the word Dark Sector has immediatly played it entirely.

Barbetti
I don't see how "more 'military" skins" means "Call of Duty". For starters, Call of Duty only popularized the modern military shooter, it didn't invent it. Secondly, despite the "modern" elements, Proto-Excalibur still fits in with the organic suit theme of Warframe.

People are getting their space knickers in a twist over nothing, simply because Proto-Excalibur might have had to dress himself and fasten a few things instead of rolling around on Phorid to get dressed.
