Might Be A Little Late To The Party, But Infested ?

I've been away from Warframe for about 5 months. Im devastated to return to see infested have been pushed away from the core gameplay to the occasional invasion and otherwise the derelicts.

They were my favourite part of this game. Why remove them?

Yes DE stated that the infested are making a permanent return with their own tileset now (they showed some screen shots and they look pretty cool.)

 

The tilesets are supposed to look a lot more "infested" like they've been there awhile. If I remember correctly, something about moving walls and such so it should be cool. Just hold out OP, infested will return with some bite to them.

The removal of the infested from the starmap was the dumbest thing DE has ever done - I've quit playing until they return.

DE claims that the infested will come back to the starmap with their own maps and tileset.  If the maps turn out to be good (unlike the orokin derelicts) it will be a glorious day.
