yes they DEVOUR ammo,but guys dont complain about weapons with amaizing DPS that you get FOR FREE. :>

For now though I'll say
Dexis are the most Dakka gun in the game. Definitely should be used as such.
My intended build is so that you only ever reload them once.
As in, give them a 210 clip count so the first reload will completely empty the reserve.

Haven't really tried out the Afuris, but I know friends who pretty much swear by them, so getting the Dex Furis is a boon for me.

 

The Dex Furis is pretty much a straight upgrade from the Afuris, and given what I hear about the latter, I can't see how the Dex Furis can be objectively "bad". As for ammo consumption, it's not like we don't have other examples of ammo-hungry weapons like the Twin Vipers.

i wouldn't go as far as saying they're bad, but they're not my cup of tea to be honest. sure they do a lot of burst dps, but that's just until you run out of ammo. the bad ammo economy wouldn't be all that bad if they had better accuracy, i think there are better alternatives for full auot secondaries like the akstilettos

Considering the damage stats don't suck (yes not all of the stats are ideal as mentioned above) it's a good little secondary for free, that also includes a catalyst and a free weapon slot.  I'm just happy they aren't complete garbage.  Heck they are better than several weapons I took the time to craft and waste a catalyst on so this is practically a refund for a past bad decision.  

 

No complaints here.   Though I don't see any formas being spent on them either.

I like them well enough.  Since they come with a free Catalyst, it isn't like leveling them has been a chore.  They do chew up ammo, but that is why we have multiple weapon slots and it just means you need to tap the fire button, rather than hold it down.  Will I use 'em once they are maxed?  Probably not.  I'd use Twin Gremlins over them, and Seer will remain my pistol of choice.  But I'm having fun using them, which is more than I can say for many secondaries that got relegated to the "level 'em off splash XP" status.

I hated the (a)furis, I hate these. I'm not going to complain about a free 3k mastery points, but they just don't beat out my radioactive viral Tysis. If the first shot doesn't kill the enemy, the concentrated fire of his allies will...

I love the look and feel of these weapons but I feel that this weapon needs one of 2 things:

1. Increase the accuracy to match the description of the weapon

2. Change the description to match the performance of the weapon in game (and maybe increase base stats a bit to compensate such as 3 more slash and impact or something like that but that's totally up to the DE)

 

I personally think that if the weapon was actually really accurate and able to somewhat "snipe" then these would be really good and would actually not require that buff everyone wants. I feel that it would give players a new alternative playstyle with a rapid-fire sniper. If the accuracy doesn't get buffed then the weapon is just a worse version of many existing weapons which is rather sad considering that these weapons are a real joy to use and ,in my opinion, look awesome.

I actually really like the Dex Furis. They look cool, sound cool, and actually pack a really nice punch.

 

But that ammo inefficiency...

 

The only change I'd like DE to make is to lessen the recoil, or the spread. It's already ammo inefficient without bullets flying past the target.

 

That being said, I love them and would be more than happy if they would remain as they are. A little tweak would be nice though.

I regularly equip recoil reducers on pistols like Dual Cestra. We don't need the devs to change that.

 

As for spread, Afuris have always been a shotgun-range weapon.

being as its a free weapon i guess its not bad but i personally would of liked to see a tiny bit more damage.  I mean they look badass and i just think the base impact and slash needs to be more that 2...maybe 5 or 10? is that resonable? i just want some excuse to put down my Stug, Brakk, Viper Wraiths, and Akstilettos.
