Game Performance

I noticed today when I entered the dojo when my friend was hosting that my fps dropped dramatically

when I host: +/- 100 fps very smooth

when he hosts: +/- 40 fps extremely choppy

I'm starting to wonder if there is a very big issue in this game with synchronizing the clients to the host

usually I have less issues when the host has a better pc/connection

the thing is, why would the dojo drop 60% of it's fps when someone else hosts?

there is zero AI in the dojo, no items lying around like mods/orbs/ammunition, we were only with 2 people and it isn't any different from when I host it

I also noticed the freezes ingame are usually coming from the host, we were with 4 ppl on teamspeak, I was hosting, my game froze a bit and everyone's game just froze untill my game unfroze, and with freeze I don't mean internet connection freeze kinda thing, I mean that the game freezelocked for the full duration on all the clients, noticed the same thing when others were hosting

after playing warframe for such a long time I'm pretty sure the performance is suffering from this sync problem

in my opinion the best way to fix these issues, if they are caused by what I think they are caused by, is to rebuild the whole sync system and make the clients run independant from the datasync as for some reason it seems it might be running within the same syncsystem as the internal clock (to calculate realtime vs gametime)

hope this info is somehow usefull, if you need any other details pm me and I'll try to answer them asap
