Concept Game Mode: Maze

An interesting twist to this I thought would be to have the mini map extraction icon disabled:

 

- To enable the mini map extraction icon 1 player needs to defend the satalite dish against a steady stream on inscreasingly difficult enemies while the other players work their way through the maze. When they get to extraction they hit a floor button which opens a teleport pad for the player defending the satalite to telepot to them.

 

 

Start:

 

- Amount of enterences into the maze depend on the amount of players(max of 4 enterances).

 

- The lotus sent satalite dish to an elevated platform by the entrances to assist in the team completing.

 

- Players hack a control panel to start the maze, triggering the opening enterance doors aswell as the spawn times of the enemies trying to destroy the satalite dish.

 

 

Multiple dead ends/ways through the maze:

 

- having the starting paths intersect at points(for example enemy rooms) will still allow for the maze concept to continue aswell as for teamwork to still be played

 

- yes some paths will be dead ends which means you might have to run back abit and try another route or even have a teleport pad there to return to the start

 

- might even be possible to have panels/buttons to press on a players path to unlock another players path infront of him which would push players to seperate a points?

 

- having containers/loot rooms along the way

 

 

Lots of traps, wall runing and enemys:

 

- floors disapearing falling into (toxic/lava/electricity what ever the map theme is)

 

- long rooms have a laser wall that triggers of a floor pad/sensor(unvavoidable) behind the players and starts moving towards the other end of the room and an increasing pace this laser can either kill said players or teleport them back to the start

 

- some parkhor rooms would fit in aswell(both derelict and void timed run rooms pref reskined would be great)

 

- rooms of annoying enemies/stronger ones they would survive in a maze(like ancients, heavy gunners, scorpians, Shockwave/anti MOA, shield osprey etc

 

- lazer traps

 

- arc traps

 

- energy doors

 

 

Finish:

 

- just like most game mode having the minimum players at extraction to start the 1min timer(although i would like it to require all 4 players at extration to completle as having 1-2 players rush to the end as in most missions really defeats the purpose of a maze)

 

- Because of the nature of this map i would really like all resources/credits gathered by players in this map to be split between the players

 

- Players who do not use the satalite(mini map extraction icon) gain increased rewards

 

- A hardmode/void version of the Maze concept could be sections of the wall closing on timed que to possible squashing/killing players
