Warframe Is Radically Communist.

In warframe there are two factions at war with eachother: the Corpus and the Grineer.  The Grineer are a fearsome race of clones hell bent on taking over the universe... to spread equality.  Their aim is clearly to create a cooperative workforce of perfectly equal clones who will live contentedly in a communist utopia.  To them the bloody violence and ruthlessness is merely a means to an end.

The Corpus on the other hand have committed only the crime of supporting the free market, they are said to operate like and share a class system with "ancient mercantile guilds from the Old Earth".  In other words they support a vastly unequal society in which profit and personal gain outweigh the concerns of the universe as a whole and ignores the impoverished and the unfortunate.

The Grineer rebelled against this society, their conquest is the literal revolution predicted by Karl Marx.  They are the proletariat rising up against their oppressors.

We, the Tenno, are in a position of deciding in which direction the universe goes.  Do we fight the revolution and return to a capitalist dystopia, or do we support the revolution and defeat the capitalist class - in the process of which many lives would be lost and the population gradually replaced by clones.

The "balance" described by Lotus refers only to Grineer domination rather than the perpetual chaos of war, at which point the universe will enter an endless golden age of cooperation and equality.  Noone will starve or want, noone will be born unequal, less or more intelligent, stronger or weaker.  While we are presented with the illusion of choice the game rewards and encourages the player to side with the communist regime and in the process slowly abandon capitalist virtues.

The "farming" players currently engage in is preparation for the communist utopia in which we will all work in actual farming and Credits will be replaced by "Contentedness Points" which will be divided equally among all player.

Estimates say that we can expect this by Update 19.

Tenno are mercenaries without honour or glory.

What the other factions are is not clear - there is lore, yes - but its content does not reflect on or affect the actual gameplay.

Nontheless there might be motivation and behaviour comparable to current political systems

No. They aren't.

Yes they are.

I'm going to have to say I enjoyed reading this. Too bad we can't just take over the universe ourselves because were just that awesome... or can we

The game is trying to make you realize that you're just following orders and that freedom in a capitalist society is only an illusion.  The only true freedom is in Grineer domination.

This game is trying to make me spend money. And its working. Should this be under the lore section? That's generally where speculation and the whole "pull things out of nothing" stuff goes. I don't obsorb the game's lore and use it to infulence my life, I'm not sprinting on rooftops and slashing people with small kichen knives.. It doesnt make me a buddhist, lol

Then what does this make the lotus? I have always questioned why we just go ahead and accept her as our lord and savior, oh wait... But still it would be nice to know why we are doing the things we do without asking any questions. Maybe she is some sort of grineer master person twisting their ways into her own, or maybe she is trying to use us to establish some sort of dominance in the universe. It would be kind of cool if it turns out this whole time we thought we were fighting the good fight but really we were killing all the good guys and we are the horrible monsters. Now that would be something

I used to think that Corpus were better than Tennos and Grineers. The most human-like faction of the three.

Then, I learned about Corpus indoctrination temples in Neptune.

The Grineer are just a group of degenerate clones who have no future unless someone like Tyl Regor manage to reverse the effects of intensive cloning.

And we are not better.
