Really Slow Update Speed

Question

Hi, first time posting here in the community so, my problem here is that my update speed is really really slow.

i used to get 100 - 300 kbps when downloading updates before, now i get 10 - 30 or 50. this happened since the release of the new sentinel called "Helois". i uninstalled a few softwares that uses internet connections, checked my modem and router. i did everything i can to boost the speed but nothing changed.

And when a part of the update is finished, it gets stuck on the Checking for new content.

since the Helois update i haven't played warframe for 3 or 4 days.

Please help. Btw im a Steam User

LOL get off of steam and download warframe from website having you kbps dropping like that shouldnt happen, or maybe you have alot of other devices connected to internet thats dramatically slowing it down

You should go to control panel and disable the network adapter and enable it again to reset it

If the above solution is not working, try to use a VPN for it.

what's VPN? and steam isn't the problem. when i download games through steam i get like really high download speed but when it comes to patching warframe, i get really really low speed

Some solutions :
-Change the Steam Download server.
-Change the launcher's options to enable aggresive download / Bulk download (at the rist of slowing down your internet for anything else)

It could also be your internet speed. If you want to know whether it's your internet speed or something software / home-network based, please use the following link  :

If you've done the test, please post your results.

i know im really late on replying to this but i do so because i have another solution for anybody that finds this post like did.  one thing that fixed it for me was turning off razor game booster.  brought me back up to 300+ kbps so if anybody like me uses that and has slow updates that might help

I'm new here, having the same problem but I guess I figure it out, working on my computer. While you're opening the launcher and updating, open the option, and in the download cache group click optimize. It repaired my download speed. I hope it worked for you who's having the same problem.

And, I have my Firewall and AV turned on too..

Sadly only last for few seconds and it's back to 1Kbps, and I tried it agan it even restart the download from beginning.. Well, guess I can't play the game unless it's fixed.. I tried to uncheck bulk download, agressive download, Run in 64-bit mode.. And it's not working..
