Does Terrify Affect The G3?

Question

If i want to farm the G3 with random people i would prefer to have a warframe with high offensive or defensive skill. But nekros could be worth gold if you manage to desecrate a few extra BPs. But with nekros i always feel horribly squishy... His summon animation takes ages, desecrate is only to loot stuff and soul punch could be hard to pull off with a ps4 pad when the G3 is trying to hurt me. So terrify could be a lifesaver if the teammates are not able to assist you for whatever reason(yeah i know never play with randoms :D).

But does it affect the G3? I think i read somewhere that they could be affected by cc, if this means my squishy nekros could push them away for a second to shoot them i would feel a lot safer to run with him next time when i try to get the brakk.

And a other question, if i kill them can i hack them in pieces with melee weapons? For better results with desecrate.

Thanks for sharing your wisdom, and if you know the magic words i have to scream at the loading screen in the beginning of the mission to make them spawn pleeeease let us know...

If you feel squish with Nekros then your not playing him.... THE SHINIGAMI NEKROS WAY!!! Which is my way... and I always survive longer... than just about any warframe in the game during a survival mission even when I run off alone into a group of death.

Last time I fought the G3 with Nekros I Was doing swimmingly against them. It was like fighting Nef Anyo. Three of them.

Also I am pretty sure you can't desecrate a boss, or even a mini boss. Since I have never seen it done on Stalker.

Shadows actually work very well when I fight the G3 with Nekros. Start summoning them when the G3's music starts; if you timed it right, they should be up right when the G3 disappears. Then get some distance between you and them and go for headshots. Having killed Shield Lancers and Heavy Gunners/Napalms beforehand also helps a lot because of their knockdowns. Natural Talent also works well to summon more shadows and to get a quick Desecrate off after one dies.

Just make sure to stand on a box or some other elevated platform when they're spawning in. They have a more difficult time targeting you up there for some reason. Also, make sure you bring some Health Restores.

I haven't tried Terrify on them yet, though I imagine it'd make killing them very annoying since Terrify boosts enemy movement speed and causes them to zigzag all over the place.

You can desecrate them, and yeah in survival nekros is the boss. But thats not what i asked for.

Edit: harvester can be desecrated aswell

I recall it being established you can't for the sake of blueprints. You certainly could for the sake of mods/health/energy/resources, but  it won't yield more Brakk drops.

But why do people say that a nekros is a big help to farm brakk/detron due to desecrate and BPs?

Was this recently changed? I may have missed it when it was changed but i dont remember that this was in a patch.

Ok i will try it :D but the summon thing has to be done before they spawn like you said it. I would just prefer something that i can use if i see my teammates dont react that i tell and write them G3 is here.

Moved to the proper section.

Thanks

Because people cast Desecrate see anything pop out, and assume that means it's helping. It's the same reason people form farming groups, but then rush through missions and finish before the spawn window has closed.

Hmm, I fought the G3 with Nekros recently and Desecrated after a couple of them died, and I thought the purple orb that appeared wasn't there before. Next time I fight them with him I will pay closer attention.
