De's Lies About Equal Drop Chances.

I did alot of T3 MDs and T3 survival for the Rhino prime Chassis and the Boltor Prime BP and I got everything more than 2 times except the rhino prime chassis and the boltor prime bp.

We all know that the reduced drop rates are so that people buy the prime access which is really lame for free players. C'mon, make it equal and stop lying, and saying that there is "supposedly" good communication between the devs and the players because this is definitely a lie.

Where exactly did they say that those items have equal drop chance?

Where did they put the drop chances on the thread? It's either a very bad communication or there's a equal chance. Seriously, they should have put the drop chances instead of keeping secrets.

Updates & Build Notes Forum has a section for Drop Locations, but there is no mention of probability.

You misread, I said, where is the drop chances on that thread. And you answered, there aren't any. So alot of player thought it was equal.

We're not saying those items aren't rare, we're saying DE never lied about it.

Then why aren't they putting the drop chances? Most of the missions have equal drop chances, why would alot of people say that the void has equal drop chances?

As I said, it's now obviously bad communication.

I'll probably say this differently:

DE's communication with players is the same as with every other F2P games, it's not unique, it's disgusting how they keep information from players: Update Notes Missing changes, inaccurate release dates, no drop chances on the drop location thread.

Most missions actually don't have equal drop chances. We've known that since we were able to datamine the tables, it's always been that way - ditto for the drop chances on Void items, they've never been equal. No reason to assume that's changed.

Then are you saying that there's been rumors? Because I farmed the void alot and often got my desired item in 1-3 runs.

I could also quote something exceedingly rough and real about DE from a member of my clan. That is if you want to be outraged at what's said inside of it.

Or players are bad at making assumptions...

Then everyone I played with since the new drop tables are bad at making assumptions? It's a wide spread assumption...

I highlighted the key word, 'supposedly'. DE never said all items are equal drop, that rumour (yes, rumour) started from the players and the players alone

Then you are right but it doesn't change that the drop rates still aren't there.

They probably never did but I listened to other players that said that they supposedly did, it means they're bad at communicating.

No, it really doesn't It means that unless you hear it from DE, you need to take things you hear from other players with a grain of salt.

I too thought that all of the items had equal drop chances in the void at one time, though apparently it's a bit more complex than that. I cannot say with certainty how RNG works in calculating rewards.

That being said, I'm going to lock this. If you think that reward tables are a bit borked, you should submit a feedback thread saying why you think the drop tables aren't working as well as your suggestions for fixing it. Calling the developers liars and saying that they're bad at communicating doesn't really facilitate constructive discussion.
