Mod Balancing

Now around a month or two ago I posted a Mod Balancing thread. I was discussing how some warframe mods should have more bang compared to their rarity.

Now im re-posting this because i stumbled upon another mod that could use a buff imo.

 

And that mod is called sprint boost.

 

Sprint boost is an aura mod that increased sprint speed by 10% (maxed out). Now it would be cool if 4 people had id generating a 40% sprint boost but there is a problem. The mod is just not as wildly used and as common as it should.

It's a bummer because there are a lot of places where i can put this mod into good use if it were to be buffed.

 

So basically please DE upgrade some of the mods that i mentioned in my previous thread and this one THANKS!

The biggest problem with making the sprint boost aura stringer is that potential to stack it with Rush and become stupidly fast.

You do realize that you get a 1/3 of a sprint mod just using Sprint Boost by yourself right (Rush gives 30%)? I don't know if you were around way back when Aura "2.0" first came out, when they changed aura cards so they were actually mods, but Rifle Amp gave a 45% boost to your rifle damage. Do the math you could get a whopping 180% damage boost if everyone used Rifle Amp. We don't need stupidly broken auras like that again, 10% is very balanced for Sprint Boost. If Sprint Boost were buffed everyone would be using it. How is that balance?

10% is not a balance for what other auras do better to their respective ability. I agree that it needs a buff as well. I'd say kick it up to be +7 mod capacity (+14 with matching aura polarity of course) for the sake of consistency and let the max be 15% speed. Plus I'm sure there's people out there like me who would welcome this because we don't use Rush mods on our warframes. It takes away from the warframe ability mods to increase my speed. If it's an aura that gave 15% to speed however, I'd be more likely to use it at least without being too fast as you said with a rush to stack with it.
