Do not put the patch? Do the following: In the settings you choose kansoli point system update, update. Thereafter, through the network boot remove patches, he will be on the boot and everything will be ok

Why would removing friends help ?

And bypassing my router, wouldn't have a clue how to do this

I'm sorry, I should have specified a little more. I didn't mean remove friends, I meant remove other users on your playstation that may be logged into warframe on different accounts. Like when you select which user you are when you turn your playstation on. Example: on my ps4 I have my account I primarily use, however some friends came over to play and logged into their own PSN ID's and some of them have also logged into warframe on their own accounts on my playstation. I had an issue similar to yours and I read online about removing those said accounts and downloading the updates started to work like normal.

As for bypassing your router, take an Ethernet coord directly from your modem and put the other end into the ps4 so you have a direct connection to the Internet.

There were alot of network issues with update 12 and they still haven't been resolved. Their are workarounds however.

Try these 2 things and post back with results.

Fixed the issue, pretty easy in the end

Checked to see if there was an actual system update, there was and it had not been pushed through as a background download.

Installed and them tried the warframe update and BINGO
