Excalibur Sword?

We have a warframe with the same name. So why don't we bring in THE LEGENDARY SWORD in too? We could get it from a special solo mission. (kill grineer, boss at the end, later you pull it out from a stone) It will seem unfair but Excalibur gets 50% bonus melee dmg with this weapon. So what do you think? Do we need THE EXCALIBUR SWORD?

You know that the Galatine is named after another sword in Athurian legend, often called the shadow to Excalibur's light. I feel that having another item in Warframe inspired by Athurian Legend is probably overkill. I'd rather see some interesting new stuff. Maybe a little more of an eastern influence?

When you mentioned eastern, that reminds me of Zulfikar(Zulfiqar?), a legendary sword used by Ali, the fourth leader in Islam after the death of Muhammad.

Look at that blade... *drool*

With addition excalibur's ultimate changed into saber's ultimate when using excalibur(fate stay night) :p

Ha. Ha. Ha.

If you want to throw even more connections in terms of the Type-Moon universe, Gram is technically a previous incarnation of Caliburn, which has ties to Arthurian legends.

Only if a mysterious person dressed in red would suddenly appear and challenge us to 1-on-1 combat. When we lose, he would steal our sword and say "This is far from the strongest of swords!!" then continue his search for Excalibur.

Yes. I have been playing Final Fantasy XIV.

Amusing sarcasm aside, I don't think a proper Excalibur weapon would really fit.

Especially the 'sword in the stone' part of it all. And Excalibur getting 50% bonus damage.

Maybe Masamune or Murasama, but not Excalibur.

As someone else noted; it's addition would be redundant.

The weapon Excal is holding in the Sword Alone appears to be a slightly shorter version of the Nodachi. I'll be curious to see what name it gets. It's obviously going to be an epic weapon.

Do we not have plenty of weapons that have an eastern influence?

It would make a pretty sick weapon to get at the end of a "dungeon" on Earth.

Although the RNG would be your attempt to pull the sword from the stone. :P

Depending on your performance in the mission the sword will deem one person in the squad worthy. So you all take a turn (one try per person) to pull it out. The mission should be designed to be much more difficult if you're soloing. (With some boss's attacks taking priority over invincibility. Looking at you Trinity and Valkyr)

We already have an Excalibur

Add Yamato Pliz

They will add a Katana.... maybe the sword's name will be Yamato?

Since the thread took a typemoon direction....

add Ea please!

..... Lets leave the Anti-World Noble Phantasm inside the Gate of Babylon, I will want a map to play in.

Give me Berserker's Sword-Axe-Stone-Thing: Nine Lives!!
