New Frame ( Idea )

First let me say i love this game and i play it everyday, in fact i don't play anything else lol, well last night after i turned off the game i was thinking about a new Frame, and thought id share it with you, although im not sure how it will be received but bare with me.

Let me also add my graphic design skills are non existent so you will have to use your imagination on his appearance.

So to set the scene on how id play out his introduction, a radio signal would be heard after entering the star chart, faint and muffled by static you make out a voice and before the signal dies he gives you coordinates of a planet the star chart pans out into the furthest reaches of space and a planet appears with the name " Unknown ".

I was thinking at that point that you would have to build a star drive to reach the planet in the energy lab to travel, but anyway once you reach the planet the name " unknown " changes to  " Infested Homeworld ", a completely new tile set, think Alien inspired, strange obelisks and structures, with corridors pulsating with living matter, on arrival on this alien world the radio comes on again, this time clearer, the frame speaks of finding him/her, a god, clearly he is mad, but at this point you have no idea why.

The world is filled with new infested, maybe Alien lifeforms lured to the planet, assimilated or simply genetically engineered, im not that clued up on the lore of the infested if im honest with you, however on completion of each of the maps you reach the last, the Assassination map, the radio comes on again ( i don't know why i call it a radio :( lol ), and you see the new Frame, save me from my enemies he says, and the radio cuts out.

I want you to picture him as a Tenno, in fact the back story, or the little i have of him is that he traveled to the furthest reaches of space alone, which is why he is known as " The Lost ", his Warframe name being Bastille, Bastille was a prison in France and i thought it apt that he was given that name as he had become imprisoned on an Alien World, imprisoned inside his own mind, you see Bastille has over time, maybe even centuries become part infested and you can see this in his appearance, half Tenno half Infested, but because of his spirit he has retained his human form.

So Bastille is the Assassination target and like all the other Frames you aquire him through beating Bastille except this time you also have to farm for the BP as well.

Bastille - The Lost

A lone Tenno that traveled to the furthest reaches of space to find him/her ( the story and biography yet to be written ).

Slingshot:

Bastille extends his arm forward doing impact damage ( think Ancients ) at a range of 2/4/8/12 metres once fully upgraded.


Lunge:

Bastille leaps towards a target ( similar to the leaper ) dealing slash damage and causing the target to bleed for 2/4/6/8 seconds once fully upgraded.


Roar:

Bastille lets out an almighty roar ( yep you guessed it like Phorid ) that stuns Corpus, reduces shields of Grineer, and causes Infested to rally against other infested ( much like Nyx's ability but only effects infested ).

For Bastilles ultimate i had a few ideas, the first being Bastille changes form into any of the infested, off the top of my head say a 40% chance to turn into a charger, 30% into a leaper, 20% into a random Ancient, and a 10% chance to turn into a Phorid, how cool would that be!.

Other ideas were that Bastille opened a portal to the Infested's Homeworld, and a pack of Chargers came through to fight along side him, or he summoned part of Lephantis ( i think that's it's name ) with one of his tentacles rising up and swinging that huge scythe, or even Bastilles ultimate could infest enemies such as Corpus and Grineer causing them to change form, although im not sure how hard the coding would be for that.


I was also thinking about Bastille having a sentinel, one that also became infested, a variation of one of the current ones, an infested deathcube anyone ?, or maybe a completely new Sentinel, with new abilities, i was thinking as Bastille had become imprisoned on the planet alone and in the dark his Sentinel could of have modified by him, giving it its first skill as a light source, think carrier but with a beam of light, maybe even have it able to detect items, as the light passes over them they appear green on the hud, for a second skill the sentinel could enhance an enemy infested on the battlefield, the beam of light targets the infested, changes red and the infested that was once fighting against you becomes as ally, a supercharged variant of itself, for the sentinels weapon, i was thinking a pulse orientated weapon, that sends out shockwaves and pushes enemies back, obviously this would be OP, so maybe it only fired once a minute, was slow and did no damage, but still useful and unique.

One thing i did want for Bastille was that he was unavailable to buy with platinum, this Frame was to give something to the Vets, the dedicated Warframe players, the ones that put in the hours, to be rewarded with something you couldn't just buy with the click of a button ( at least not for a while ), i wanted players to have a sense of achievement when they found his parts, i also wanted Bastille to not be an easy Frame to make, requiring multiple mutagen masses and mutagen samples along with other resources found in infested regions as well as regular Tenno crafting resources.

And that is my idea for a new Warframe, Bastille - The Lost.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Bastille is one of the skill of Vauban.

 

I love the summoning and swinging the scythe of Lephantis. I really want Death Reaper themed frame for a long time now.

The abilities of Bastille are based on his infested state, as for his name, would that really be a problem with Vauban already having that as a skill ?, if it was i had already thought of another name that would fit into his lore and that is Bastion, thanks for the input though :).

Any frame concept that is damage based is meh for me. I dont like it.

A good idea overwhole but the powers and names are just random for no reason, roar and Bastille are ability names so thats off, and an ability that can deal tons of damage with stuns but in other cases will do almost none? Sounds weird to me, i love all of the ideas, kind of feels like yo are on the infested side, maybe actually do that, so one of the abilities would make enemies think you're on their side (bassicly invincibility)

The idea was more about a lone tenno that became corrupted after spending X amount of time on the infested homeworld, that was the premise that interested me the most so you're right there, i wanted to come up with something completely different, yea the moves may not be perfect, but i was basing them on the current attacks of the infested we see today.
