10 More Days Of Tethras Doom!

Ok I beat the tethra's doom event several days ago with all the necessary points. Major glitched booted me back a patch to u12 which required me to manually linstall ps4 1.62.  Now fast forward to this very day, tethra's doom is now showing 10 days now compared to the few days left from the original. What the heck!!! Do we have to redo the darn event? Was the event extended? nobody knows a rats buttocks.  DE never responds and gives info.. this is lame.

The event was extended a week. It came as a hot fix for I believe the void. No one is sure why it was extended, but your scores you already have are still counted.

Edit: It may have been to fix the rank up bug users were having. I got enough mastery to complete the R8 test after the hot fix, and I was able to rank up successfully.

Both Rebecca and Megan posted/edited in the Update 12.4.4: Tethra's Doom thread. Apparently the interception mission was too "hard" for a lot of players so they lowered the difficulty.

PS4 Tenno! The Tethra’s Doom event has had difficulty adjustments for the Interception mission, and has been extended until April 8!

Yea, it was extended to ensure that newer players can get a chance to complete it. I was hoping for the rewards on Monday but oh well. At least everyone gets a chance to get the rewards.

Hmmm. Quit changing the reward dates. If u can't beat it, recruit allies that can help you. Personally the missions were easy. If you can't beat it then u do not deserve the rewards!

I don't care that the reward date was changed. I care that the event missions don't save 3 out of 3 times the first time I played since the patch. Also there ends up being 1 enemy left (after killing all the enemies) on earth. After sitting there for 20 minutes looking in every room and square inch of the map you have to abort, or the host will host migrate and you will loose all progress. What a huge waste of time.

A "few" is only about 3 or 4. 7 days is nowhere near a "few". I'm okay with people getting an extension on the event. But those of us who finished it within the first day or two should just get their rewards for completing it. At the same time though, with the random logouts people keep having, it may just take an entire 10 days to get it done. -_-

The interception wasn't too bad if you had 4 people and they each stayed at one of the columns. The trouble is I never was in a 4 player game when it started. It was 2 and 3 players. If they each just stayed at 1 of them it was fine, but some can't do that, they think they are helping when they leave and come to yours. When theirs falls they don't understand it's because they are not there to defend it. Anyway, if 2 people each stay and protect 2 of them you will win. It just takes a little longer.

I don't think they should have done anything to help the new players. It's an event REWARD for a reason. If you aren't good enough to complete the event. Then ask for help. DE doesn't need to make those of us that completed it in a matter of hours waiting for them. Heads up to the new players. All interception missions are easier solo than with a party.
