99.999999% of the time its a Reaper Blade. I have 19 now.... collected 3 in a row today.

Edit: Make that 4 in a row today..... stupid ridiculous....

Like 5 yesterday. What is up with the drop table? Its ludicrous. PLEASE look into this.

when rhino prime came out i did around 40+ t3-mds and i got about 20 reaper blades, 16 forma,2 ember prime systems and 2 boar rpime barrels BEFORE i got boltor prime BP. i at least needed the forma and made a small bit of plat from the ember systems but it was painful to do that mission over and over.

Your over exaggerating, sure I maybe the one person who has never had to for for more than a day to get something. So yeah, I might be a bit biased on this topic.

Except he's not really exaggerating, my results are pretty much identical to his... ironically, I wound up with the exact same number of Reaper Blades too. I know clannies that can report similar results, as well (five - six+ Reaper blades in a row). Now sure, I eventually managed to get my Boltor Prime/Rhino Prime, but something is definitely rotten in Denmark with the drop table... which shouldn't surprise anyone who was here for when parts had (and could still have) 0.67% drop chances, it happens every single time they add new stuff to the Void.

I agree, but The thing is, grinding is not supposed to be easy, to get my primes typeset took hours of fringing and at least 35runs. But as long as your dedicated you can get it in one day. But it can easily go too far. And this falls with the reason I am against adding more primes, it will further decrease the drop tables unless new mission types are added. People ask for primes but complain when they can't get the drops, it's and endless cycle. There is a reason why it is easier to farm frames than primes, there are not as many drops. I farmed Valkyr in 4 runs, farmed Mag prime over the course of 1 night, 40ish runs.

Small issue, that's not actually true. That's what the over-reliance on RNG entails: randomness, it's entirely luck-based. At best, you can potentially say that the "average" person will eventually get a desired drop in X number of runs, but it's simply not credible to phrase it as an absolute truth - you'll have people that fall into either extreme, either they'll get the drop they want within one run, or they may never get it.

"Easy" and "Difficult" don't even enter into the equation: difficulty implies something requiring skill or effort, not simply luck. It's just as "easy" or "difficult" to pull the lever on a slot machine, regardless of whether it pays out or not.

And it's not even necessarily an issue with dilution (though, granted, it doesn't help, and it'd be resolved right quick with a token system); it's that the dice are obviously loaded and always have been, that was the case even when there were just the original three Void items when stuff like the Latron Prime Receiver/Reaper Blade had verifiably miniscule drop chances (prior to changes, it wasn't uncommon to hear about people not getting the former after 100+ runs). Likewise, it's not a coincidence that you don't hear about anybody drowning in Boltor Prime BPs or Rhino Prime Chassis BPs.

Well, that's what trading is for, or better yet get prime access.

Bad comparison, Valkyr can be run anytime, void tower need keys. T3 keys reward rate had been nerf to the ground. I'd run various survival mission to 15 minute, I got 1 t3 MD over the week. That's how bad it's. Combine the low T3 keys reward rate and the screwed up void reward table, the result is massive amount of frustration. Some give in and bought prime part. Some just quit.

I found it absurd that you used an example that they're already fixed the RNG issue. Have you tried grinding for frame part when before they fixed it? There's a lot of Naysayer like you before they fixed the RNG on frame part, claiming that RNG is fine. I'm glad they didn't listen to people like you, and fixed the issue.
