PookieNumnums
So... Aside from floating, Valkyrs hysteria uses the most basic fist weapons combo during her aura. She also uses the shoryuken (dragon punch copter attk). Anyhow, Im wondering if when melee 2.0 comes out, her ult combo will recieve an overhaul, and become affected by stances. The main problem I see with the current Valkyr is that she is too immobile while attacking during hysteria. The new animations for the melee 2.0 combos cover much greater distance than our current set, and im hoping she will also cover more ground and finally become the berserker we all hope and believe she can be. Morec0
I think they've said they have no interests in altering Hysteria at this time.. But I may be wrong, and I do agree that she could benefit GREATLY from the system.
JHarlequin
It probably won't be affected by stances but there will likely be combos involved. Of course if she doesn't ride in and out on her hysteria she will still get gunned down but that is beside the point. Of course maybe it will get some rather impressive effects added by 2.0. They might give the hysteria a bit of a bump.

AuroraSonicBoom
The fortunate thing for Valkyr is that they will be reworking Hysteria's animations with melee 2.0 in mind, so it's pretty likely that she'll reap some of the rewards melee 2.0 brings. There was a dev post on Valkyr before, I can't tell you who or exactly what they said but... It was somewhere along the lines of 'Hysteria is a state, not a melee weapon. She's already received her rework and won't function any differently after melee 2.0.' This was said as she was last updated in a discussion thread. So, there's your answer. I'm 100% certain of this. Deidaku
Dunno :/ What I would like though is slash dash and rhino charge dding to the combo meter.
Vanhline
Animations are not basic functionality changes, nor stat changes, which was the topic. if they change her animations, how she swings, how she moves, then yes, it is a change of how she functions. as for stat changes i wouldn't put to much stock in that until after it does or doesn't happen. I'm 100% certain of this. i remember that. it was on a live stream, said by scott. regardless of what hysteria is, she is still using combos and melee attacks. her state and her attacks are different. animation/combo rework, not ability rework. I dont remember hearing that crossed out part so i crossed it out Edited March 29, 2014 by T4LCOMX
