On Ankyros Prime (or any melee weapon) for normal and/or charge attacks

Best used on Kestrel, and glaive/prime =  free extra damage .

Better to use with a caster frame though

Well... it has a cool glow effect, other then that, the damage is pretty much out-shined by most other melee mods.

It's not very good on any weapon since you get more damage from elementals without first spamming abilities.

 

As far as I know it only hits one target on a swing that hits multiple targets.

 

To get most out of it you should use fang/prime because it bugs and gives bonus damage to all three swings on normal attacks. Although Fang is pretty crappy weapon and Fang Prime is much better used as a charge weapon.

 

Power Efficiency also makes it worse since you have to cast more spells to get the same amount of energy stored into it.

 

If it gave you bonus damage for certain time after using an ability without power efficiency hindering it, it could be nice. As long as it affects only one attack and target it's not worth it.

 

READ: If you insist on using it, NEVER use it while leveling your melee. If you have energy stored when you exit the mission you won't get any xp for melee weapon.
