In Case You Are Wondering When We Will Be Able To Hit Mastery Rank 30

I've been bored... So I gathered all information on Warframe/Weapon/Sentinel/Kubrow releases together and created a little extrapolation:

Current version:

Update 14.7.4, 2014.09.20:
10514315_382569905232256_350869605880690

The "exact" date would be 2018.09.15 based on all the data. ^^

Older versions:

Update 14.1.3, 2014.08.02:
10342894_359166190905961_881362792618152

Exact Date: 2018.08.21

Update 13.6.1, 2014.06.06:

10441165_338852092937371_192675609423947

Exact Date: -

Update 13.0, 2014.03.26:

1265522_311567125665868_716359717_o.png

Exact Date: -

Blue line is currently available XP considering every Update since closed Beta. (The first few updates in closed beta are a liite bit inaccurate in description, but ever since open beta it is accurate). Yeah I digged through all Update notes and added them in account.

Orange line is the extrapolation... Captain obvious to the rescue.

With the current XP curve of 2500*Rank^2 we need eventually 2250000 XP...

Did not include the XP gained from clearing nodes... that would add an additional 14617 XP, but they seem at this point near to irrelevant. :P - Added with 13.6.1 version. (Problem was to find the exact date when that got added and my laziness xD)

Interesting side-note: The update cycle (the average days between minor hotfixes) is still dropping:

Closed Beta 1-7: 7.53 days
U8: 4.64 days
U9: 3.77 days
U10: 3.16 days
U11: 2.85 days
U12: 2.62 days
U13: 2.59 days
U14: 2.53 days
U14.1.3: 2.42 days

U14.7.4; 2.42 days

So either DE shifts out more Content, gets to fix more of the old bugs or the releases get buggier each time or a combination of all. ^^

I'll update the post probably every 1.5-2 months or something depending of how lazy I am and how much content DE shifts out... If the changes are too small I won't update.

Feel free to discuss... :D

Reminds me when there was an event to raise the rank cap on Halo: Reach a while back.

People predicted that it would take at least a year to reach Inheritor (max rank). Well, that point was dis-proven shortly after.

But then again, I don't know. So far you'd have to get every single weapon in the game's history to be even up-to-date. We'll see who will reach the last rank n the meantime.

Was thinking about something similar the other day.

How many weapons and frames would there need to be if we wanted to get to rank 30.

2250000/3000= 750 meaning mastery rank 30 is equivalent to maxing out 750 weapons.

Or maybe 50 frames and 650 weapons....

I thought of Halo: Reach when I saw the exp counter. Inheritor rank is too far away ;_;

I don't predict that it will be taking this long... I guess they will add other ways to gain Mastery points eventually.

Also the curve would be declining at some point because of the number of exclusives, or because of DE shifting their development priority over to other aspects... xD

It's also very intersting how the bumps show off major updates like 8.0 and 10.0

There are currently 145 weapons... and 23 Warframes... 6 Sentinels...

If it's going to be distrubed the same way it is currently... then probably ~540 weapons, ~85 Warframes, ~22 sentinels or something like that... xD

realistically considering several unknowns i think its more likely to be achieveable somewhere in 2017

new starchart locations to be added, new sources of xp, more codex scans, codex completions, mastery tests, etc etc etc

additionally as deeper ingame design systems are polished/finalized that would free up work available for more gear/frames content

lastly as the game grows so will the DE staff, thus faster production times and/or larger design projects goals

but ya, taking a ton of unknowns into account, id put money on 2016-17

How many slots, potatoes, and forma? lol

if you kept every weapon and warframe, potato-ed them all, maxed them with, then I do not even want to consider in terms of money what you could have bought, maybe a decent sized family home, some Ferrari, maybe an amusement park attraction for your back yard, or every single song in the genre of music you like.

If i recall correctly, the "focus" system that is to be implemented lets players with maxed out gear transfer their other wise "wasted" affinity to this new system. I have a hunch that the focus system may close the gap between Mastery rank 30. Of course not right of away but maybe as more is implemented to WF.

Just my 2 cents.
