How Do You Know When You Are Death Marked?

last night i encountered the stalker (i belive that whats he is called), i didnt know that i was even death marked :/.. so is there anything that shows you that you are death marked? if so can someone please point it out!!!! also he too stronkth for my low mag prime that i formered 10 mins before hand haha...

Edit: I can't spell. Also, if you were playing with some other people, 1 or 2 of them could probably have been marked and you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
