War Frame Trading System Suggestion

I've been playing this a while and I'm generally enjoying it apart from when it comes to buying and selling stuff. The current system seems so archaic and reminds me of the trading done on runescape long ago, messy, spammy and generally unorganised.

 

My suggestion is to implement an auction style platform similar to what is found in FIFA whereby items could be bought when you want off anybody regardless of whether your online or not. Thus eliminating the need for a spam thread and allowing people to trade at fair prices stipulated by the market demand.

You mean they're not traded at fair prices stipulated by market demand now? I don't like auction houses, they lead to the inevitable price fixing when the average price data is at everyone's fingertips. At least now I can drive down the asking price by going to several sellers and making a sale or buy right there and then. 

 

But, the trade window is very messy, it could do with a bit of a tidy up.

I would say you tend to find a lot of the same people over inflating prices because they're willing to spend a lot of time spamming the trade window.

I don't see how auction style bidding would inflate prices at all but bring prices into a more even playing field.

With the ability to also set buy it now prices you could sell an item cheaper if your in need of plat quickly.

Some (me) would say that having price data available is important for making fair trades.

 

I 100% support an auction system. It should probably require an extra auction box in the Dojo to limit the access to the auction, and like trades per day should have limits to how many things you can have on auction. There ought to be some mechanism that auction a convenient option and barter a cheap option.
