I Need To Complain! (Invasion Node Duration)

Orokin catalyst alert on Adrastea. Just got off work and showered, and started going at it, 25% left. Got 4 done and it disappeared on the fifth mission.

 

I WAS 1 MISSION AWAY, LIKE, COME ON! 1 MISSION! ALL I NEEDED WAS 1! I was having a decent day, and now it's ruined, I am so upset right now. I need moar catalsyt!

anyways, Can we please cut the mission count for these alerts to 3? Similarly to the infested? Trying to grind out 5 missions in that short of a time is almost ridiculous! Especially for alerts with potato's.

this is stupid.400 and more playeron a single faction.Basically,if you're not online (and notice it) asa it started you're screwed.we did a mission in like 4 min,and the % went from 22 to 12%.IT's stupid.On 6 invasion with a potato i was able to obtain it only in 1.

Imo DE needs to remove the cata/reactor rewards from invasions. They get done in less than 10 mins and it leaves the others that didnt make it in time in a rage mode.

Removing those two rewards OR increasing the amount of time a invasion needs to be finished depending to the rarity of rewards. In either case you are either online when it happends and have the best rush damage frame or you are out of luck. By the time someone logs in during those rewards its already half done.

I was wondering why I never saw any Catalysts or Reactors as battle payment anymore.

 

Well, invasion missions with crappy rewards where taking too long (like 1 month?) so DE changed it but apparently forgot to differentiate between bad, average and good rewards and just made them all last the same amount of missions.

 

 

Lets see how long it will take to balance different invasion rewards during peak and non peak hours.

I do these solo and finish them much quicker that way. Usually only goes down 15% when I'm done with all 5 runs.

But I agree, those invasions should be readjusted so that they at least last 1 and a half hour.

 

The potatoe alerts last for 1 hour at least, but you only need like 2 min to finish them, while the invasions don't seem to last even an hour and you need to run them 5 times.

Seriously, why can't these potato invasions require a larger amount of runs to get it to zero? Or at least a grace period? It's blood ridiculous. Most of the time if you don't catch it the instant it's up, you're boned.

I'm for the latter idea: increase the amount of mission completions necessary to finish a catalyst/reactor/forma invasion, so that more people can accomplish said invasions. We can even justify lore for it as the Corpus or Grineer paying much rarer rewards for a longer, more protracted invasion on their part.

It's been said enought , but DE does not care , make orokin reactor invasion require more , timed , or w.e  Those reactor is gone way to fast pretty sure alot of people got to 4 and fail

People really need to stop this entitled crybaby crap. Just because DE haven't immediately fixed something that bothers you doesn't mean they don't care. They're already putting everything they've got into melee 2.0 right now just give it some damn time and stop acting like conspiracy theorists every time you find something in the game that you're not happy with.

Maybe Reactors should be slightly more available. While I have heard vets say they have plenty of reactors to spare, I've only got two so far and there are, what, 18 base frames and 6 sentinels? So, I need like 22 more.

Granted, you need more catalysts and forma overall, but catalysts seem more common - I think I have six, and forma drops in the Void.

(I've been playing for less than 2 months.)

Well, started right when it was 50%, it was at 25.4% when I finished the 5th one.  And yes, I did it crazy fast since the last time an invasion like this happened, I did with one clanmate, and couldn't clear 5 of them fast enough, and we started when it was 48% the previous time.

 

The rate at which you have to do these, assuming everyone is trying to do it (and it wasn't quite like that since it was only 80 groups doing it instead of 100+ that I saw a previous time), you have at most 30 minutes non peak (more likely around 20 minutes peak play times) to do five invasions before it is gone on the PC.  You have more itme on the PS4 because of a smaller player base, and I would imagine not everyone on the PS4 knows how valuable these are, where as on the the PC, we go gangbusters.

 

Is there a solution to this?  Minimum time for an invasion to be up to at least be as long as an alert perhaps, with a timer showing how much time is left after it hits 0%.  Or maybe it could be something evil and have a potato being offered on each side of the alert.... that could take a very long time to get completed then >:)

Why i say they do not care ,its quite simple it's been many month that issue have been here , I don't know much about coding or anything related , but pretty much sure changing some stats depending of reward should be quite easy , I had rather get ton loads of reactor than melee 2.0 ,just do some research you will see the same complain over and over , people getting screwed because reactor went under 20 min off or invasion stopped at the 4 th

Except this has been a major issue for quite a while, which means that they have (yet again) pushed new content instead of correcting old broken content. I'm sure many folks wouldn't mind if melee 2.0 was sometime in November if they actually put the nose to the grindstone to correct a slew of the problems that have plagued Warframe on a general whole for months.
